Super simple and very affordable!

We decided to go with Speedtalk for my 10 year old daughter, who has been begging to get phone service. I am extremely pleased with the value of the $9 plan especially knowing that my daughter will be on Tmobile's network (via Speedtalk). I think they are for the cord cutting generation and it is nice to see a flat price for service with no suprises. I really like that the sim card and activation were both free with the purchase of the plan. I think the concept of a hybrid type billing system is amazing they describe it as being between a subscription and a prepaid plan; and you can cancel at anytime because there is no contract. That also means no credit check which is great for my needs (service for a child) and cheaper than adding her on my sercive. My grandparents are shopping for new phone service and I plan to recommend Speedtalk to them. My grandfather uses a flip phone with no data and does not text so he should be able to get a way better deal than he currently gets from At&t. When you order the kit it has several size options so if you need service for a smartwatch, phone, or anything else you should be good to go.

They will put you down for auto-recharge even if you unselect the tick box

Its easy to install, and the phone quality is fine, but here is the main issue: THEY WILL SING YOU UP FOR AUTO-RECHARGE EVEN IF YOU TELL THEM NOT TO. That's right, even if you unselect the auto-recharge tick box when activating the sim card, they will charge your credit card next month. Super dishonest from them. Therefore, you have to CALL THEM after activating the sim card to make sure they will not re-charge you the following month

Hard to beat for the price

Well, I wanted a second phone. I decided to go with the Soyes 7S (a tiny tiny little Andriod phone, smaller than a credit card). This is a backup phone to use when I don't want to take my Galaxy S9 with me, but, still want to have an emergency phone. Times I would use this would be when I go fishing, or, to the beach, or out drinking, basically anytime my good phone would be 'at risk'. I don't care if this little phone gets lost / broken / stolen. I mean I care, but, I care more about my S9. I got this $9 a month plan ($6.50 at the time of purchase here on Amazon). This provides all I need (more than I need). My phone allows me to toggle on and off the data connection. So, I can make sure I never use data unless I want to. I can also connect to Xfinity hotspots while out, or, my own wifi at home. So, the amount of data I do get, is plenty for an emergency (like if I had to ask, "where is the nearest gas station / hospital / etc.). I honestly will probably go down from the $9 plan to the $5 plan for next month. I don't see needing more than 100 mins / 100 texts / 100mb for my needs. I can say everything is working fine on the network. Data speed isn't super fast; however, my phone only allows up to 3g, so, I am not getting the full network speeds anyways. It does work just fine though. Texts are fine. I sent a few pictures to test and all went though just fine. Voice calls are clear on both ends. I do live near a big city (Chicago), so, we have good cell signals around here. For me, it works great. They do have more expensive plans (still not too high cost) for more 'hungry' users. I'm going to test them out for a while, many months. Maybe I'll switch my S9 over to them in the future on one of their higher plans and save a boatload monthly. Will have to test more first. My S9 is on Verizon and has worked perfectly on all my travels. I'll see how this Speedtalk does after I take it out of town a few times.

Great Cell Service

I selected Speed Talk Mobile for their great pricing for a phone that I use only occasionally. I use the sim card in a Moto 5 5G, and as soon as the phone was turned on, I had connection to the cellular service. So far, I have had zero problems to deal with. I am very satisfied with Speed Talk Mobile.

Buyer beware!

In the fine print and at the very bottom of this ad is says the most important part: "it will automatically be set to auto-renew unless cancelled". You think calling and cancelling it is enough? Nope! I bought 2 SIM cards with the intent to use them for 1 month while visiting relatives in the U.S. I called and cancelled both lines when I was finished. 4 months later I noticed I was still being charged for one of the lines. I called and asked for a refund, they wouldn't give me one, but I didn't give up until I got the cancellation in writing that time. Here I am, a year later, and I just noticed the other one was charging my other credit card for the whole year! Refund? Nope! I spent $162 on 2 lines for 1 month that should have cost $18. No customer service, no understanding, to responsibility taken. I officially am boycotting this business and I strongly suggest no one does business with them. By the way, I couldn't use just 1 email address and 1 credit card to set up both sim cards, it was very difficult to set it up, I kept getting errors until I used a different credit card and another email address. Lastly, no contact from them whatsoever. It's very convenient for them to "not have a record" of when I called and cancelled the first time. My advice, if you buy this, which I don't recommend, be sure to get the cancellation in writing! Don't trust this company to have your best interests in mind, this is a scam company that is only after your money and doesn't care about having repeat customers. If they did, they would have offered me even a partial refund. They have all the records they need to see that the phone wasn't used AT ALL for over a year, and do they care? Nope! Run!

Awful Sign-up Process, but Good Price & Good Service

SpeedTalk is working out really well for my smart phone service needs. SpeedTalk and I had a rocky start in the beginning though, because when I I tried to sign up on their website, they DIDN'T have the actual Zip Code for Omaha, NE. When I called their rep wasn't very cooperative about helping me. After some persistence with him, he finally told me I would need to use the Zip Code for a "nearby large city". The only one that he could find to use was a city (Kansas City, KS.) which is actually 180 miles away from me. This all took two calls to customer service over 2 days. Once I used that zip code ( only to sign up), then my real zip code for payment purposes, it was smooth sailing from then on....Whew...Finally! I've had them for 11 months now, and had good call reception and overall good service from them so far. Not many dropeed calls either. So it has definitely been worth it! I especially like having unlimited texts on the $9 plan. :)

Bought for kid's smartwatch

Purchased this Sim card/ plan for the new smartwatch I bought for my daughter. It was easy to activate and install. Service was active and smartwatch was connected to the mobile network within minutes of completing the online activation. The online activation requires a credit/debit card registered to the account/phone number for auto monthly refill. It acts similarly to most phone plans, and you just get charged at whatever rate you activate at. You can, however, change/upgrade you plan any time. There is also the ability to set up an auto overage refill feature that protects you from running out of plan usage of mins/sms/data. Overall a good value and would buy again if the need arises.

I didn't live in the area for the service. but they were very professional and easy to contact. not sure how the phone service was . but if I could have been in the range for service I would have used them I went with another company called goog2go. and they are great , wonderful service easy to contact and any problem will be taken care of. they hold there customer with high regards. very prompt at everything they do. the service is so clear which is great because I live in the way in the back stick of the usa. so I'm very satisfied with good2go. so if you can't get speed talk service try good2go. I'm glad I have them . it was for my son, now I'm changing over and shud be receiving my kit today to save. 20 dollars unlimited everything compared to cricket where I am now. it will save me 40 dollars mon. big saving to me much rather pay 20 instead of 60 any day. who doesn't want to save money these days. any cut will help I can put that extra else where needed. who couldn't right.?
