  • My new favorite.
Color: Black/Silver Mirrored
I was very surprised if this goggle. I've used swedish, vanquishers, cobras and tracers but this beats them all. They're comfortable and very hydrodynamic. The vision is very good too. *1 Month Later* Goggles still going well. They're a bit scratched (I'm a bit messy). The anti-fog is great, the insides have touched my fingers and water and the anti-fog stays in tact. *4 months later* Goggles have become a bit more scratched but that's my fault. The anti-fog has just started to wear off but still functions well. The strap is still intact. ... show more

  • Tighter fit in the eye sockets, means less leakage on longer swims.
Color: Vapor Mirrored
These are my sons competition goggles. He says they leak less the. His vanquishers when he’s doing a 400. But he prefers his vanquishers for practice, shorter sprints and for backstroke. He says they fit into the eye sockets a little more so they leak less on the multiple turns he has to do for the longer swims. We have at least two dozen pairs of goggles and we always make sure to have two pairs of these for a meet. I do think you have to have a specific kind of eye shape/bridge for these to fit really well. So I suggest taking a pair for a spin before investing in multiples. ... show more

  • Best goggles you can buy!
Color: Black/Silver Mirrored
If they’re good enough for Michael Phelps, they’re good enough for my amateur self! Haha Seriously though. I’ve been swimming for a few years now. I’m a runner by nature but got into swimming when I started doing Ironmans. I’ve been though 10-15 sets of goggles now and these are hands down better than anything I’ve used so far. Fit: It does fit closer to the eye socket vs wider fit. I wasn’t sure I’d like it at first but after a few laps you don’t feel them at all. No leaks, no awkward suction ring at the end. Fog: No fogging at all. Just follow basic wear guidance. Wet them down before swimming. Don’t touch the insides and rinse them with fresh water after you’re done. View: I do like the wider panoramic view you get. You can easily see other swimmers using just your peripherals. Cost: I was absolutely shocked by the cost to quality of these goggles. I spent $50 on a pair hoping coat meant quality but these are half the price and twice the quality. I absolutely recommend them! ... show more

  • The best so far...!
Color: Vapor Mirrored
I bought these for my son, he previously wore the Speedo Vanquisher 2.0 for his swim meets, but they would occasionally come off or slip when he would dive. He said that the Speed Sockets were “a million times better” and increased his vision enough that he wasn’t turning to look at his competitors! 5/5! ... show more

  • Awesome visibility, good looks, but not long term comfort - use for racing
Color: Black/Silver Mirrored
I purchased these for going to the pool with my kids. I am a former competitive swimmer and water polo player, so I figured I'd get some sleek goggles. These goggles are really awesome: great visibility, very hydrodynamic, good quality, good at resisting fog - and they are made in Japan. The only problem I had with them are the seals are not very padded and are not designed for long term comfort. After wearing them for an hour my eye sockets did start to get sore. If you're a racer, these are awesome, but I would use them only for racing, and not a long swim practice (I'd wear them for a short 30 min practice session, however). If you're looking for leisurely goggles, these are not it. However, if you're looking for sport goggles for racing, these are really great. ... show more

  • ... one spot where they don't leak and are still comfortable! Much better than the original speed socket
Color: Vapor Mirrored
Finally found a pair of goggles that I don't have to keep adjusting to find that (only) one spot where they don't leak and are still comfortable! Much better than the original speed socket. I can wear these all day. Very comfortable. No leaks. I can read my watch underwater without distortion. As far as fogging, every goggle I've ever tried fogged from day one. That's why they make Akona Anti-fog gel. Fogging is never an issue. ... show more

  • best goggles I ever had!
Color: Vapor Mirrored
I am now 69 years old, and swimming has been my most important exercise since I was part of a high school swim team at age 16. Every type of goggle that I had leaked by the end of a workout. I tried several brands, including some of the less expensive Speedos, but it was always the case that some water got inside the goggles. I was a little reluctant to buy these as they were more expensive, but the hope of no leaks made me order them. They came with three nose bridges, so I had to insert the one that best fit my nose. Then, I tried them for my mile swim. There were no leaks!!!! I strongly recommend these Speedo Speed Socket 2.0 goggles. ... show more

  • Great for deep-set eyes
Color: Black/Silver Mirrored
My son loves these for his practice goggles. Not quite as good as his meet googles (Cobra Ultras) He wears them with a bungee strap. They do not leak and are comfortable around his eyes... They do get foggy once in awhile but that's an easy fix with cleaner or spit. ;)
