They did not have youth sizes so I ordered her an adult XXS knowing I'd likely have to roll up the sleeves a bit, and that's ok. It is a great fit with room to grow. She is 5'3" and approx 85lbs. Compared to other parkas that I researched, this one is an excellent value for the quality you get. So I got this for my 8 year old son. I wanted something long for him because he gets cold easily. Youth sizes technically fit but I couldn’t find anything floor length so I went for adults. He is 49 inches tall and I got him the xxs. It barely touches the floor. The sleeves are too long but honestly that doesn’t bother me. I could have them hemmed but I’ll leave them.
