Although this iPhone case is durable and sturdy, and presumably would protect my phone if I were to drop it, its black coating has started to come off, beginning around the curved bevels and then on to the flat surface. It is very scratched looking with some surfaces matte black and others glossy. I am not at all rough with my phone. I do not toss it onto surfaces or mistreat it. I do not put it into my pockets with keys or change or anything that would scratch it. I am not at all pleased with this result for a phone case that cost this much money. I purchased it as I was unable to find the usual soft, rubbery, clear cases that I had purchased in the past for my iPhones. Of course, the 30 day return period has passed. ... show more
