This Chef Works men's-proportioned, short-sleeved, polo-style shirt fit tight when trying on for size right out of the bag, compared to my extensive number of polos I own in that same size from other brands, companies, etc. I wear a man's short-sleeved V-neck or crew-style undershirt underneath all my outer tops (polos, pocket t-shirts, dress shirts, etc.), yet even trying it without the under-shirt it still fit tightly. Therefore, consider ordering a size larger than what you usually wear for possibly a more comfortable fit. Shirt was washed once following the instructions on the tag (see image) and it held up well on that initial washing and drying. The polo style itself and fabric the shirt is made of provides a simple, classic look that is similar to my other polo shirts made from similar fabrics. It withstands wrinkling, which I'm pleased with, so it appears it will travel well in my suitcase. Rated it a 3 out of 5 because of the fit factor, which greatly affects how comfortable I feel wearing it, since I prefer to wear my tops a little looser. ... show more

Shirt was true to size and fit exactly as expected. It's very light weight which may be good or bad depending on preference. It looks nice from 3-4 feet away without any obvious or out of place branding or logos. All I all it was a nice shirt at a fair price. I gave it -1 star because the shirt I received had manufacturing flaws. It had a few stray threads that I had to cut or burn off. The shirt seems to have strong seams but there was clearly some lack of attention to detail during manufacturing. ... show more

REVIEW OF CHEF WORKS MEN’S POLO This is a nice short sleeve shirt for warmer days The material is soft, comfortable, and has a bit of stretch. The subtle sheen of the material is such that it looks to be a more expensive garment. The shirt can be as easily worn with jeans as it can with nice slacks. The seams are well-finished as are the buttonholes. The straight hem allows the shirt to be worn outside of the pants. I ordered the shirt in an Iron Grey color and in an X-Large size. I usually wear a Large size but sometimes imported shirts run slightly smaller than US sizes. However, the shirt is more than ample and I would suggest that you order the US size you customarily wear. If you prefer your shirt to fit tightly, consider a size down. ... show more
