Features

  • Get the most suspension travel available: SPCs arms have improved clearance to get around the spring bucket and 80 of articulation in its ball joint. Now equipped with free pivoting xAxis joints, SPC's arm gives you maximum droop travel. More travel than any other ball joint or mono ball equipped arm on the market.
  • Get your drivability and tracking back: When you lift your truck you affect caster and camber. SPCs arms have +2 of caster built into them. Using its patented ball joint design, the arm will get you 0 to +4 of caster and 2 of camber. This adjustability allows you to put your alignment angles back to specification.
  • Get your tire where you want it in the wheel well: Use adjustment in the control arm and on the OE lower cams to maximize alignment angles and move oversized tires forward in the wheel well to minimize or avoid fender trimming.
  • Adjustment range: Camber 2.0, Caster 0.0 to +4.0
  • Installation time: .8 hr/side

  • Twitch is gone, better articulation
I installed a 2” lift on my 06 4Runner last year. Bilstein 5100 with ToyTech Springs all around and a Dobson differential drop kit greaseable polyurethane front and rear sway bar bushings. Awesome but twitchy with the lost caster. Now I’ve finished the job with these SPC upper control arms. Installed at position “C” for 3 degrees of caster. LOVE IT!!!! Tip. Use a digital angle gauge to set your camber before you get an alignment. Mine before L=89, R=87 and after set both at 88 degrees. Toe slightly off. Will get an alignment soon. 😉 Update I replaced my lower control arms (OEM aftermarket) this weekend due to worn out ball joint boots and got it aligned. Man, this truck handles GREAT! Link to the OEM LCA's I purchased here on Amazon. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0747QXR96/ Finally alignment with the new UCA and LCA's Right and Left": Camber = -0.1 and -0.2 Caster = 4.4 and 4.8 Toe =.02 and .04 SAI 12.1 and 12.3 Included angle = 11.9 and 12.3 Front combined: Camber=0.1" Caster=-0.4" SAI=-0.5" Toe=0.07" ... show more

  • Make sure it is from Amazon otherwise you're out of warranty
Well, the product is as described. Product said it will be coming from Amazon warehouse only to find out it did not. Had a small tear on the boot. Discover this after installing and pumping grease into it. Contact the maker hoping to get some kind of warranty only to discover that it came from a 3rd party. No warranty. This is a very expensive product and to not have some kind of manufacture warranty is nerve wrecking. Amazon issued me a pair of new boots which is commendable but still felt cheated because I always make sure what I order did not come 3rd party. Warranty wise. I couldn't just pull everything out and send it back because the old was damage during removal. Now, I discovered the opposite side boot also has a slight tear and leaking grease. The tear is exactly like the first one. I should be compensated for labor. Basically, Amazon pulled a fast one on me and did a switch a roo on where it would come from. ... show more

  • These are the BEST arms available.
So many features to like. Real ball joint that is greasable and replaceable. Huge range and many settings for caster settings. Good range for camber. Rubber isolated maintenance free upper arm bushings. The most articulation and best tire clearance of all replacement arms. All at a very reasonable cost. When they switch to a full forge arm over the older welded tube I was sold, glad I made the purchase. With these arms because there is such a huge sweep in caster angle you can move your wheels pretty far forward so you don't have the famous tire to frame/body mount interference. No need for body mount chopping if your tires and offsets are reasonable! ... show more

  • 07 FJ Cruiser, Like, but would go with a different design.
Work as advertised. However, if I could do it again, I would have went with All Pro or a uniball design. These have a ton of flexibility with regards to tire placement. However, unless you have a shop that know how to adjust them, you will be going back a few time. They have a gross adjustment and a fine adjustment. The gross adjustment is what give the shop issues. This has been my experience. Quality was good. No complaint on product materials, just on what it takes to get them lined out. ... show more

  • SPC UCA's on my 05' 4Runner
I really love these. Very adjustable. The extra camber adjustment gave me the additional clearance that I needed to run an almost 13" wide tire on my 4Runner (with aftermarket wheels of course). The additional caster adjustments are a great feature as well, and allow you to add additional caster that is lost when lifting your vehicle. Very high quality product and I got the best price and lightening fast shipping from Amazon. Most 4Runner owners that buy aftermarket UCA's end up with SPC (Light Racing) ones because they are easily the best value for the money. Install was very simple. One word of advice: pictured are the old style bushings. The new ones require greasing and come with a pack of grease. Be sure to grease the bushings before installing them or you will have squeaky bushings... Ask me how I know. Oh well, still love the product. Yes, I'd buy these again, and yes I'd recommend them to anybody looking for aftermarket upper control arms. ... show more

  • Best UCA on the market for off-roading
If you plan to lift your 4x4 and put oversized tire on it the SPC UCA is a must. Makes adjustments for your lift easier withe the fully adjustable arm.

  • Great alignment problem solver
These control arms give you more +caster in the front alignment and compensate for lifted trucks. I installed in my mildly lifted 4Runner and got an additional 2 degrees of caster which greatly improved handling and straight line stability. They’re kind of expensive but very well made. I have SPC arms on another car and have only good things to say about their products. Installation only took 2-1/2 hours and my truck is much more fun to drive after this upgrade. ... show more
