OK, now I am totally hooked on the Spanx as part of my permanent daily wear. This garment is very well made, fits well, and provides support throughout the day that I did not realize I was missing. As a pilot, I have to sit for long periods, and then move throughout the terminal with several large bags. When I wear Spanx, my posture improves, and I feel much less fatigued. Squeezed into this for my wedding and it did help get an extra inch off. Be sure to find a size that is more like the size you want to be and not the size you currently are. Though also understand that you need to fit into it and this isn't magic. I tried on several different men's shapewear and picked this one because it had the best performance to comfort over any of the others. Some others got me looking thinner but I felt like I couldn't breathe or was critically overheating or it looked really strange under my shirt. I own several of these now, and didn't purchase them for their slimming factor but for support instead. Just like athletic compression clothing has performance benefits, the relief and support this brought to my back was amazing. You really find yourself standing taller, and with a great sense of relief. They've held up really well through numerous washes without any wear or tear that I've noticed. I usually wear a medium in under shirts and stuck with that same sizing here, fit is very snug but that's what I expected. ... show more

    • I bought XL... And it was waaaaaay too tight.
I dropped $100 on these and am not happy. I am 6'1', 190 lbs... and XL was so tight I could literally feel the blood circulation being cut off. I read a lot of articles online and found there were some real dangers with wearing this kind of stuff. If I was to try these again (I love the concept and idea behind them!) I would definitely go much larger. And i also think I would go with the tank top instead... so at least my arms could breathe. Not a great experience. I think I could get a much better experience buying normal tshirts that are one size smaller for $20 at the store. ... show more

Be patient when you try to squeeze it on. I'm a large but it looked like a small. It took a minute to get it on but it is totally worth it. Once it is on, it is true to size and feels pretty good with no roll-up.

    • Great multi purpose use!
This shirt has great multi purpose use. It's great for working out in if you have jiggly parts that you don't want to jiggle when running. It also helps keep my confidence in wearing tighter fitting clothing until I can get there without it. The only con is they're so gosh darn expensive. And rightfully so. I've gotten a ton of use out of it. Something I've also noticed is the sleeves sometimes roll up on their own and get a little uncomfortable. In hindsight, I would probably opt for the tank instead of the T. If I buy another one, that's what I'm getting. ... show more

This shirt does what it's supposed to do. It improves your posture, enhances your chest, and trims your belly and waist. A little pricey, but worth it! Very well made. Best product for men by this brand. Much better than similar products by competitor brands! This product deserves a better rating than what the other reviewers gave it. Make sure you specify "zoned performance compression crew"! (not the T-shirt or v-neck) The black and white are both awesome! ... show more
