Talguy's wife here. I bought the leggings. If I could give these 100 stars I would! May you never be leggingless again. Best leggings ever. Ordered the capris in a size small length petite. I am 47 years old, 5 feet 3 inches tall. They fit beautifully. Look like capris not leggings that are too short. Put them through the same test that I had the Danskin Women's Essentials Ankle Legging. This was a rigorous test since I remember the legging when it first came out. I also know the legging of present: cheap, thin, saggy, baggy, hangs in the crotch and basically unwearable after 2 months. I put a pair of these on and wore them for 3 days. I put on the white granny panties (we all own a pair) and bent over in front of a full length mirror. You could not see through them, no VPL, and no signs of stretching out when I stood up (leggings that is not my butt). I knelt, squatted, sat, bent and stretched in these things doing a variety of activities for 3 days! Not a sag, bag, droop or sign that they had stretched out. Nice substantial material...just like the days of old! Nice that the waist band comes up high. Not a fan of 'low slung' anything as I always feel like I have plumber's crack if I bend over and feel the incessant need to pull them up around my waist. These actually come up to your waist so this little ritual is unnecessary. They also fit close like a legging should. They are not a 'pant' or 'jean' style legging. They are a true legging. Look great with t-shirts and sandals or with pretty ballerina flats and a really nice stylish longer top to go out in. If you work out in a gym you can feel 'secure' and 'confident' in these. If you work out at home by yourself get all those old leggings you hate and use them for this. Save these great Spalding leggings for your wardrobe! As for washing I highly recommend washing inside out to prevent color fading, on delicate, cold water and line drying. I do this to ensure the best chances of having no shrinkage. Leggings do have cotton in them after all so I take care with how I treat them. Definitely plan on buying about 5 more pair of these! I will offer Spalding a piece of advice. DON'T EVER CHANGE THIS PRODUCT! Women really do want to reclaim their right to wear leggings again in public without putting on an inappropriate show. Your product is top notch and really delivers! If you keep delivering a good product at a great price we'll keep buying them and spreading the word about you!

I'm definitely a medium with leggings, panties, shorts, pants, etc. The pair I just now received is marked Medium, but it is either marked wrong or the cut is off-- they are too tight in the waist. I prefer mostly cotton leggings, but they are not readily available in retail stores near me, so I took a chance on an on-line purchase. Perhaps these will stretch out in the waist over time but, if not, I will donate this pair and go with a Large next time. The simple style is exactly what I was looking for. They come to just below the knee, which is just right for my walks or workouts. Love that they are 90+% cotton which is a more breathable material. If not for the too tight fit in the waist, I would have given them a 5-star rating.

This is the second pair of size medium Spalding capri's I have purchased. I am 5'1 and 130 pounds. The widest part of my hips measures 38.5 inches. My waist is 28 inches and these fit perfectly. Hence, this is the second pair I have purchased. I purchased size medium. They fit perfectly and are not restrictively tight like poly spandex blends. I LOVE these leggings for my gym workouts.They are NOT see through. They are comfortable and they BREATHE exceptionally well in hot and humid climates because they are cotton. I don't wear Polyester "wicking" fabrics because they do not breathe here in Texas. Honestly, I'd never wear nylon or polyester fabrics to workout in here in Texas summers because they make me feel super, super, super hot! I feel significantly more comfortable and much cooler wearing cotton when I go running when it is 99 degrees outside in cotton. I have never had problems with chaffing or blisters. Update: July 2024: I ordered the grey in size large based off the new size chart for the new high waisted spalding Capri. These do not fit like the old ones. Currently I am 110 pounds and my hip measurement is 37” and my belly button circumference is 31 and my natural waist is 26”. Based off the size chart I ordered a large. My last two older pair were cut differently. Granted I purchased them over two years ago. In this new version, Size large fits like a size medium in the waistband. However, I had to return these immediately because the thigh was cut super tight! Like I could not bend my knee tight! And I could not lift my leg. I think the factory seamstress screwed up and cut the size large capris from the size small patter and sewed a size medium waistband on by mistake. It happens. My thigh circumference at the top is 17 inches and above my knee is 15 inches. So that is why I am almost certain the factory seamstress made an error and sewed the size small legs onto a size large waistband. I wear size 4 in Lulu lemon speed up shorts and size 4 in jeans. I always size up in cotton to allow for shrinkage. These we’re definitely sewn incorrectly.

I normally take small to medium depending on the cut of the product. I have several Spalding capri leggings that were purchased in the past that I bought in the medium for a more relaxed fit. This style runs really small - the fit is tight at the hip and waist without much give in the elastic portion. The fabric feels thinner than past purchases. Hits at the mid waist correctly. Given the fit on the medium I would probably be a large or maybe an xl for a relaxed fit. I’m a size 4 so you have an idea on how small this product runs
