Where do I start?!! First when we charged it the watch kept saying it was overheating on the screen! All I was doing was charging it and yet somehow it's charging device was causing it to overheat. Next the set up process is difficult to follow and took forever. Once it was charged, I tried over and over to "pair" it with my phone. It never did! I followed the instructions and no matter what it never paired with my phone. The screen is hard to see and half the time it doesn't acknowledge you've even touched the screen. No side buttons, just touch screen and poor visibility. When we were outside we had to go under a shaded tree just to see the time and even then we had to shade it more with our hand. Finally, my 6 year old daughter wore it to do a 1.5mile run. The first and only time she ever wore it (not kidding)!!! She wore it for about one hour in total. When we got home I asked to see what her watch said on her step count and it said "no sim card" on the screen. I knew I put a sim card in and I paid to activate it with Jumpy (another awful product). We took the sim card out and it was water damaged. Shortly after the watch shut off and never came back on again. So we got one full hour out of this product! The best part is jumpy won't replace the sim card cause it's "water damaged" from my child sweating. It says it's "water resistant". She didn't submerge it in water, she was sweating from a run. So apparently sweat is all it takes to stop this product from working. Save your money people! Now I have to cancel the phone plan I got to go with this garbage so I'm still not done with this headache. $40 kids watches have better reviews than this $200 watch. Don't believe the hype!!

This watch is great. It’s ideal for safety, communicating and reliability. My initial plan was to use the device as an incentive to encourage my 6 year old girl to improve a skillset before giving it to her. So I showed it to her when it arrived, she was thrilled and told her she can only have it if she did better with her penmanship… It worked she’s being careful and thoughtful about her writing. When I gave it to her I conveyed that I’d take it away if she doesn’t continue to improve… She’s used it to call us when she’s been out of the house, is excited to have her own phone number and memorized it already. Aside from our initial incentive idea, the features and benefits illustrated in the description of the watch are dead on. We’ve had other watches but they were more of a distraction with video games and other random features. My wife and I love that we have full control of the watch, from school mode to the Buddies app – only allow our authorized persons in the phone list, and the GPS comes in handy as well… The other inherent feature is the educational component of learning how to tell time and dates… She merely checks her watch when needing to add the timeframes on her homework… The additional plus: it works on the Verizon Network as well! I recommend the purchase of this watch, especially since the awards app incentivizes good behavior. The watch has lots of great features that doesn’t distract from the core idea: Safety, Communication and dependability. I feel It’s a good investment in our little girl.

It works with at&t. Easy to set up with a sim card. Did have to call customer service for a few things but they were so helpful and stayed on the phone with me while I got everything updated and activated. I had to restart the watch twice to get the signal to connect from at&t. I can't say enough about the easy app it comes with either, and I can keep track of my 6 year old who isn't ready for a phone. The location tracking is awesome, and she can call me anytime. It also has a school mode so she can wear it to school without it being an interruption. She also doesn't have the ability to add her own contacts or receive calls that are not in her contacts, which I love. No internet browsing either. So if you're looking for a watch thats reliable that connects to your GSM network, look no further. And if you have at&t its only $10 a month to add a line for a watch. Seriously love this thing. I will say the charger could use some work, I charge it for her as it's very finicky. Otherwise though it's pretty great as is. After one year... The watch band was broke off and they wouldn't replace it. So we bought a new one but couldn't buy them anywhere in the US they stopped selling them. So we ordered a brand new one in the box off ebay as that's the only one we could find. The sound stopped working a week into purchasing it. We contacted the manufacturer who would not replace it because we didn't buy it from them or Amazon. Which was impossible at the time. Wasted $340 on these watches. So we just bought a Samsung Galaxy watch 5 and that's what my daughter wears now.

Originally bought from Best Buy and had for a year before I accidentally broke the watch face. Bought this as a replacement and we love it just as much. The location updates can be sometimesy and you have to play with the settings to adjust. But overall it does what it’s supposed to. The battery life is great. We get through the entire day before needing a charge. Occasionally overheats if things like brightness are max and use is prolonged. But these are minor fixable issues. Great value for the price. My 8 yo is gaining responsibility and also able to communicate with his friends and family. No complaints.
