  • Some wonderful information about 4 beautiful places
Format: Kindle
The author knows their stuff and shares it generously with the reader. I have visited all four states, but mostly the cities This book motivates me to explore more of these beautiful places. I have a meeting in Tucson coming up and pal to spend a few days sightseeing different places. Comprehensive, with history, interesting facts, stories and more! The only drawback is very few pictures. These are beautiful places, and to see many pictures would. have been wonderful ... show more

  • Loved the Information
Format: Kindle
Although I would really love some pictures of these amazing national parks, I loved the information provided in this book. I wasn’t inspecting information on hiking in each of the parks, so that felt like a bonus! I’ve had the fortune of seeing most of these parks in person and it was exciting to reimagine some of these beautiful places while also learning several interesting facts and mysteries I never knew before. ... show more

  • Needs more
Format: Kindle
This travel guide has nice introduction to the American Southwest. Then it presents areas like The Grand Canyon, Carlsbad Caverns and several more. There is a lot about the history of these places and interesting facts. You'll learn about things to do while you're at these places and where you can stay the night. There are various tips for traveling within these places. There is much more information given. But what's missing here are pictures. These are beautiful places and need to be represented in that way. Overall, this is simply too big of an issue to overlook. I think this could be a great guidebook if the pics were there. ... show more
