Description

Southpole's basic fleece jogger two pack gives you two pairs in one order, which is really the point of a pack like this: one stays in the drawer while the other is in the wash, and you are never caught without a clean pair on a cold morning. Each pair is cut with a mid rise and a relaxed line through the seat and thigh, then tapered down to a ribbed cuff that holds at the ankle instead of pooling over your shoes. The interior is brushed soft against the skin. A ribbed elastic waistband does most of the work, and a flat drawstring lets you pull the fit in without the cord twisting into a rope the way a round cord does. There are three pockets. Two side pockets sit deep enough that a phone stays put when you sit down, and a patch pocket on the back holds a wallet or a key. Nothing is printed across the leg and there is no oversized logo, so these read as plain everyday bottoms rather than gym gear. Sizes run XS to 3XL. They pull double duty as workout bottoms, rest day pants, travel and airport pants, or something to pull on around the house, and they are machine washable, so upkeep is a normal laundry cycle. Southpole has been making everyday basics for men for decades.

Comfortable Joggers That Check All the Boxes These Southpole fleece joggers surprised me with how comfortable they are right out of the package. The fleece interior is soft and warm without being overly heavy, which makes them great for lounging at home or wearing out on errands when the weather is cooler. The elastic waistband with drawstring gives a secure fit, and the tapered leg with cuffed bottoms keeps the pants from dragging or looking sloppy. I like that they offer both regular and Big & Tall sizing—something you don’t always see in joggers at this price point. The material feels durable enough for everyday wear, and the stitching looks solid. After a couple washes, the pants held their shape and didn’t shrink noticeably, which is always a concern with fleece. If I had to point out one thing to watch for, it’s that the fit runs slightly slim in the legs. Not uncomfortably tight, but if you prefer a looser cut you may want to size up. Also, they don’t have that athletic moisture-wicking quality some higher-end joggers do—these are more about casual comfort than working out hard at the gym. These joggers are fantastic! Incredibly comfortable, soft, and warm. I'm 5'9, and weigh about 185lbs and I ordered a large. They do fit fairly well, but are a tad tight. Just a tad! Not worth upsizing to an XL, but enough that I noticed it when I first put them on, and they didn't really stretch out after hours of wear. I do worry slightly about shrinkage after washing. The length is perfect, the pockets are zippered if that's something you like for security. I like the colors included in the pack I got -- black, grey, olive green. Perfect for matching all types of tops. I think these would probably be too warm to workout in unless an uncomfortable sweat is what you're looking for. My partner said they made me look like I actually have a butt too, so take that however you want lol ... show more

These sweatpants are the kind you put on and immediately feel comfy and cozy. Sort of like a warm hug for your bottom half, pun intended. They fit true to size. There’s nothing fancy about them, no zippers or hidden pockets. But the pockets are reasonably deep enough to not worry about your cell phone falling out while walking - big plus for us pro max peeps. Oh - and I even got some compliments at a cornhole tournament I was in yesterday … You read that right, a cornhole tournament … I guess they hang well. But that could also just be some thirsty peeps. Let me be clear: I am a woman. Yeah, these are for men, but some guys have thighs, too. I mean, we all have thighs, but chunky thighs are what I'm referring to. Or maybe your thighs aren't chunky. Maybe you're just so built and muscular, that your thighs are rubbing together. Well, boys, if your thighs touch, stay away from these pants. I have owned these pants for a month. I can no longer wear them. Why? Because the insides of the thighs are torn to shreds. It looks like I have been attacked by a rabbid racoon, between my thighs. That sounds gross but you get the gist. These pants are 100% polyester, which is not thicc thigh friendly. The friction will tear these pants up in little to no time. I got a small, and they fit well but there was a small amount of room in there (still pretty fitting to the skin, though). Regardless, it looks like I took a cheese grater to them. If you have thighs that touch, go invest in sweatpants that are at least 50% cotton, instead of 100% polyester. You need that "strong" material in there for sturdier pants that last against the friction from your buff thighs. So the price is good on these, but they're not even going to last. I just got 58% cotton joggers that look and feel better than these ones, for maybe $5 more at Old Navy. Just pay attention to what the pants are made of when you buy these things, I guess. TLDR... thighs that touch will tear these pants up, go get some joggers with cotton in 'em. If your thighs don't even touch, I probably sound crazy. You'll understand when you're older, like me. I'm 20. And these pants got messed up. I write this review wearing my better, 58% cotton joggers. I am a new person. I am free. ... show more
