Shelves are nice, standard design, and look as represented. The packaging did not stand up to shipping. There's was a crease across the shipping carton that went all the way through to the long side boards with small dents on both.

I had this small narrow nook in my apartment that was mostly just wasted space. I decided to put a bookshelf in it. I was limited in the bookshelves I could buy due to the size of the area and I am very pleased with the one I picked. Fits in great. ASSEMBLY: It was very easy to assemble. All of the peaces were numbered on the cut edges so you could easily identify them. They also gave you extra dowels and screws and shelf pegs in case you lost any - which is always a nice touch. I would say it took about an hour to assemble. CONSTRUCTION: It's your standard pressed cardboard furniture. It's fairly sturdy for what it is but definitely not something you're going to pass down to generations. The back panel is cardboard, which is pretty typical for these types of units and shouldn't be an issue if you have it against the wall. the only things that would make it better would be divots in the shelves that would make it sit in the self pegs better. As it is they just lie on top of the peg and the shelves move pretty easy. But as long as you're not moving things around on there a lot it shouldn't matter. ... show more

I needed a basic book shelf for .... well... BOOKS! It assembled easily enough, the build quality is outstanding for the price and is aesthetically pleasing. I filled it to the hilt with books and threw some decorative crap on top. No wobble, just stands there solidly. 5-stars!

worth a $100 ? meh, only because I really wanted this color. Worth more than that ? no. There were a few minor scratches on the sides (not shipping bumps and bruises). One you can clearly see in the photo. Also, I hate that the holes for the height of the shelves are so visible from a distance.

Product arrived with no instructions. Once I found them on south shores website, it was easy to assemble. Corners at the top were damaged. The slightest bump will ruin the finish. Not worth over 100$. If you’re looking for something that will last, this isn’t it.

This is overpriced for what it is. It’s extremely cheaply made. The nails provided to nail the back piece on are a bit too large (it should’ve come with the smaller tacks) and if you don’t get them perfectly centered, you will chip the shelves. It’s overpriced for what it is but since I bought it for a closet it, it works okay for my needs. However, I wouldn’t buy it again. ... show more
