  • Great price and they pound.
They seem to be built well. Very heavy. What sold me was the built in amp to run satellite speakers. I was able to add more speakers to me back yard tiki bar sound system. Only had them a couple weeks and sound great. Would recommend.

  • Good speaker for your money
Size: 2-Pack, 18", 100 oz Magnet, 4" Voice Coil
I haven't used these at a gig yet, but messed around with them for a bit. Sound quality is what is expected for the price. At full volume they will start to clip playing Hip-hop or music with a ton of bass. I also feel it misses frequencies in the mid - Lows, But deep lows it rumbles. Also be prepared these speakers weigh 90lbs a piece. Construction quality is great!, and it gives you plenty of flexibility to control volume and frequency right on the amp. 2 XLR Inputs and 2 XLR outputs (HPF) and 2 XLR Outputs (Full Range) IMO The outputs on full range sound terrible on my QSC15's, but the HPF Output sounds good. I would definitely buy them again as budget subwoofers. ... show more

  • Nice budget subwoofer
Size: 2-Pack, 18", 100 oz Magnet, 4" Voice Coil
Pros: These things hit a bit harder than a pair of EV ELX200-18SP ($2000) - I've tested them side by side. There is an easy knob on back to adjust the frequencies on the sub so you can get rid of "boominess." I usually keep mine less than 80hz. There is a red clip light on the back that I've gotten to clip at about 125db. They haven't blown yet, and so far I'm happy with the purchase. I was worried these speakers might easily blow or not have the punch or just have a crappy build quality. Cons: The cooling fan on them is a bit loud but you don't hear it if doing a show. They are very heavy and bulky. I can carry them by myself but it's much easier with 2 people. If you're solo DJing these will be a pain to transport. They also may be a bit overkill for small crowds like a wedding. Younger crowds seem to enjoy feeling the bass though. I would purchase again. If I had lots of money I'd go for like RCF subs, but again these are budget subwoofers and work quite well for my purposes. ... show more

  • Too big and too heavy for use.
Size: 2-Pack, 18", 100 oz Magnet, 4" Voice Coil
I tried to return these stupid things. They weigh over 100lbs each and take up my entire entryway and hallway. I cannot use them - I cannot move them by myself. At this point it's going to cost me several hundred dollars to have them removed and thrown into my dump. Very expensive mistake.

  • Great speakers.
These bad boys kick butt. Ur customer service is great too. I had trouble hooking them up to my peavy 15 inch passive speakers. Had to buy the soundtown 4000 watt amp. Sounds really good. Soundtown emailed me and it was step by step instructions. Great company. I did a gig in a rather large picnic area and I could hear my music at least 200 yards away and it was clear. I bet I can be heard on the moon... thank you Sound Town .... oh yeah, I put wheels on speakers and it helped me alot.. they are kind of heavy for me.. I'm going to take them to Ashtabula Ohio Beach, I'm going to make the sand vibrate...lol ... show more

  • Quality of sound for the price
This is my third time sending out Amazon and Soundtown a email about the product I purchased on the 8th of this month. I have not heard anything from the company and Amazon is asking me if I heard anything yet from them multiple times now. I received the speakers and was trying set them up. One of the speakers have a horrible white noise coming from it. That is continue to happen when, I thought it was my mixer at first. Then my friend brought his Turbosound over and set it up on my mixer. No sound at all, I switch and bought new XLR cables thinking it was my equipment. Then I connected the second sun up. Guess what no high pitch sound at all. So I like I said I’ve sent emails out to this company and now I have a worthless sub in a box. That can’t be used, and I haven’t been able to reach anyone. But I paid a car note on speakers thinking I was going get this resolved and it has not happened. Really poor if you tell me. ... show more
