I would not use this for my living room setup, but it is just fine to add some music to my work room. The sound quality will not leave you amazed, but maybe with a "It's okay, I don't need more" feeling. The price is fine for what I got.

Picked this sound bar up to use in a self made weatherproof enclosure for my pool/patio deck. Was not expecting much for the price…very pleasantly surprised. Sound was clear and loud but lacks a bit of bass. Not a deal breaker by any means. It’s gonna work out perfectly. The case is solid and hefty and feels like an expensive unit. Looks good too. If you find the sound lacking make sure to go through the sound pre-sets using the remote. It makes a difference. The remote is the only way to do this. It is not a button on the sound bar itself. No biggie. If you want an inexpensive sound bar that is loud and clear with acceptable bass (I like my sound a little on the bass-y side) I think you’ll be quite pleased. I took a star off for the bass not being enough for me. Would be 4.5 stars if I could. ... show more

The sound isn't bad, but not great either. Its hard to adjust to get an equal bass and treble level. For $80 od expect more. I purchased this for my bedroom TV and to also use while getting ready. It Bluetooth to my phone and alexa easily. Set up was easy. It is a bit on the heavy side. My biggest annoyance is it doesn't have any type of auto leveling. I'll be watching a show and dozing off. The voices on TV are flat sounding and soft. But then music plays in the movie and it's full blast twice as loud. You can't even hear the characters voices half the time with background music I've tried changing the input to hdmi Optical and video cables (Yellow, red, white) it didn't seem to resolve the problem. With Hulu it's really bad. I refuse to watch hulu with the sound. I dont hate it enough to return it. But I wouldn't buy it again either. ... show more

With 5k+ reviews for this product, I am not convinced that the practice of purchasing positive reviews is alive, well and thriving on Amazon. I can see of no way that this device has so many positive reviews. Product does not come with any means of connection to a source device out of the box (save perhaps Bluetooth) so be warned. It also does not come with any USB drivers and is not USB plug and play compatible. It installs as a generic USB compliant HID device in Windows 10 device manager so to make it work, you would need some sort of USB driver for the PC to recognize it as a compatible sound device and route sounds to it. When you plug the device into USB, it connects (you can hear the customary "ping") and then, almost immediately, disconnects (with the same system "disconnect" sound). This cycle of connection and disconnection via USB will repeat ad infinitum. The manufacturer's website has no support page; no downloads section, nothing except the vaguest of FAQ's which aren't support related. The "contact me" form is a facade, they will not contact you back. The "chat" feature is also a fraud as it only states that all representatives are busy, regardless of the time of day or day of the week. The phone number provided just goes right to a non-descript voice mail box. There isn't even a message that states that the voice mail box is one owned by the manufacturer. For all the customer knows, it is just some poor guy's voice mail who is totally unrelated to the company. In short, there is precisely and exactly zero support from the manufacturer for any of their products. Amazon has no mechanism for supporting this product either (not that they should have to) other than simply returning it. Full disclosure, I didn't try to use this product with a 3mm audio jack but I didn't purchase it for that purpose either. If the product was only intended to be used with a 3mm jack, it should not have asserted the possibility of other means of connection in the description and just shipped with a 3mm cable. Save yourself the effort of having to return it by simply not purchasing it to begin with. I wish I had done so. ... show more

I bought this for a Christmas in 2019 as a gift for my mother and 4 years later it is still working / sounding great! I highly recommend this for anyone that is in the market for a quality Bluetooth sound bar / subwoofer. (It comes with chords but we use it 100% bluetooth)
