The opening of the net is a little small for bass but thats my fault for not checking measurements better before purchase. I was surprised that the handle did not telescope (again my fault). The flip latches for the extension are very easy and haven't failed us yet. I’ve used this for about a month now and it broke recently when I opened it. I’m not sure that’s enough to recommend against this net; it’s cheap and works for the most part, even after one of the hinges snapped.
