These boots fill the bill. Price is right. Size-wise I'm a 9.25, so he 9.5 feel a little big. So, I went ahead and got a pair of 9.0. A bit snug. Thick socks with one pair, thin socks with the other: both great. My outdoor work has been a bit more rugged than expected, so I figure they'll start falling apart before too long. Arrived within 5 days in box. Fit good. Look good. Comfortable. They look more like a traditional, round-toe cowboy boot with a walking heel than traditional ropers. They are light and easy to wear. They are good for routine outdoor wear where they aren't stressed too much like in muck & mud. I use them as day-to-day wear around the property and the area and in town. For more rugged outdoor work, I'd go for a more sturdy boot. Soto boots are good value for the money.
