Fit is good, quality seems good, nice and supple. the only thing I was not fond of was that the insoles where glued in, so I had to take a chance and gently remove them so I could put my own in. Fortunately it worked and it all worked out ok. I'll be keeping them and may get another pair soon.

I really like the boots. They look very nice, they looked more distressed grey upon arrival, like the last photo. In the photos I posted it is the before and after of when I applied mink oil to the boot. It darkens them quite a bit. So if you do want that dark black color it is still achievable. I did notice that they do run big at least half a size. It’s ok though as I like my boots a little big. Makes the break easier on the feet. Last but not least they are actually quite comfortable, the factory insoles are very soft. This is only the first day Ive had them so after a few months I’ll edit this review to cover durability.

These boots are so comfortable that you don't have to break them in. They are out of the box ready just as described. They are absolutely beautiful and the Cognac color is the nicest.

As soon as I removed the plastic bag cover from the boots I could see there was an issue. The sole of my left boot appears to be two pieces of leather spliced together with two overlapping wedge shaped cuts....ether that, or the leather sole on the toe of my boot had been cut with a razor knife or something similar. There is a thin black finish on top of the tan leather sole, under the white stitching. Where the cut was, that black film had pulled away, and a small pie shaped piece of it was missing. A tapered flap of leather under the black finish was also pulled away. Three of the white stiches in the toe were also missing. The fit was not what I had expected. I ordered a half size smaller than usual because reviews had stated boots were cut long and wide. They are cut long. This size 10.5 is longer than any of my size 11 boots, but they are not very wide. I would guess they're a D width at best. I can get away with the width because of the extra length. I was also disappointed that the mock ostrich quills were not as pronounced as they were on the boots in the picture. Many of the quills on my boots are relatively flat. I needed the boots for an event, so I settled for the fit, and repaired the toe with Gorilla glue, a black sharpie, and used a paint pen to add the appearance of stitching where the three stiches where missing. I know that because I altered them, I am stuck with them, but that's what you get when you order something online that you have to have. These boots would have been unsellable at a brick and mortar store.....or at the very least, heavily discounted. Lesson learned! The attached pictures show the cut/splice in the sole, the three stitches that I had to paint on, and how flat the mock quills are on my boots. I couldn't be more disappointed.

Colors a little lighter than the picture But still looks good And the leather feels thin BUT.... They're actually one of the most comfortable boots I've ever had and they are holding up surprisingly good!! The bottoms are really slick when you first get them but it stops after you wear them for a day........ So I got nothing bad to say good boots! Get one size smaller than you normally would as they run big! I always get 13 in boots I ordered 12 for these and they fit perfect didn't even hardly have a break in
