These are my favorite winter boots for toddlers. They’re warm, sturdy, and easy to put on. The Velcro is amazing because you can tuck in snow pants for a more waterproof winter outfit. This is our 3rd pair and they’re worth every penny.

I bought these for my 2 year old son. He is now 30 months or 2 1/2 years old. I ordered a toddler size 9. His foot measured 5 1/2” He at the time wore a size 7 or 8 in shoes. However he was in between sizes, seemed to be going through a big growth spurt, & I went off of the recommended sizing. As I wanted to make sure he had enough room to grow into? With his growth spurt and really not knowing. As I bought these last year right before winter. So I really wasn’t sure. However I think with these boots in particular, if you want them to fit. I think it would be safe to just order the size they wear or maybe a 1/2 size up. But no more than that? The toddler size 9 fit him but are big on him. He can still walk in them fine without any problems. They kept his feet super warm! His snow suit helped the most to keep them on his feet. However since they were big they did come off from time to time. Only if he was in deep snow, or in a weird position in the snow. That they would come off as he was playing. But I was there and would just put them back on with no issues. Again I knew this would probably happen, prior as I bought them bigger. Still yet they are a pretty good overall boot, and super easy for him to put on and pull off himself! The strap helps a little bit to keep them on but not too much. However next winter they should fit him perfectly and stay on without any issues at all! So all and all I’m glad of the purchase as I’ll get 2 years out of them rather than paying that much for just one winters wear! Especially at his age! Hope this helps? Oh and I definitely recommend checking the actual Sorel website online for accurate sizing!

They arrived early. Great boots,perfect color,my daughter lives them. I know there durable they are Sorels. Highly recommended.

I was hesitant to purchase these due to the price knowing my two year old son will likely grow out of them by next season, but after the first few wears in cold, wet weather - its worth it! The soles and toe of the boot are solid, but not too heavy for him to walk in. They are easy to put on, but also snug with the Velcro latch across it. His feet have stayed dried and warm every time he has worn them. This Minnesota mom approves.

1st off- There is a person with a misleading review about sizing> Go with the child's actual size shoes. I have a toddler and he wears a size 4.5 in regular shoes, and guess what? I ordered a size 5 Toddler, and they fit great. He's a got a little extra room for wearing thick winter socks and growth. OK enough about sizing. Great winter boots overall: they keep his feet warm and dry, and real easy to get on and off. Pretty stiff like most boots when you get them but the kid isn't running marathons in them.

Bought this for my five year old grandson. He claims it's comfortable and seems to be able to run around in the without difficulty. No complaints of cold feet after playing in the snow for 3 hours. Seem fairly waterproof. With the cost of kids clothes and how quickly they grow out of them, these boots are a very good value.
