Bought these for my 2 year old with wide feet. We usually have trouble getting shoes/boots that aren’t specifically sized wide to fit him but these were perfect. He wore them every single snowy day this season, and has stomped in the mud and puddles as things melt. His feet stayed dry and warm. He had no trouble walking in them, though they are heavy. This time it didn’t work - the padding inside has changed and now the next size fits smaller than the last. Here is how we do snowboots at our house. The kiddo gets 2 new pairs every year because he has outgrown last year's pairs - so we clean up last year's boots and resell those. The monies from the resell go towards the new boots. We purchase one pair that almost looks like a tennis shoe design - these are great for mushy or snowy days where he will not be outside playing and it is not too cold out. The second pair is the more hearty pair of the two - more waterproof and can protect in the more cold days (we live in MN) and when the snow is deeper. And these Sorels are great for the more hearty pair. They fit great, come in lovely colors to help ensure that my kiddos boots don't look like everyone else's and can be tightened at the top to help keep the snow out. The inside liner is comfortable to my sensory kiddo and comes out if it needs drying from sweat - my kiddos feet sweat like there is no tomorrow. ... show more
