These are great boots for all types of fall and winter weather and they are great looking as well. They are comfortable enough to walk all day in (I have actually worked in them during a 5 hour shift), and they look great with any outfit. The are warm and water resistant as well, and I found that although they are true to size, they were a bit narrow for my feet. I found the laces on the boots to be durable but short in length, leading me to have them tight around my ankles. I know that this is a small observation, but I also found the shoe tongue length short as well. For me, this more of an asthetic because the tongue was not flush with the top of the boot.     • Great looking bootie, runs a bit small returning & ordered a half size larger.
These are so cute, once they finally did arrive. I wanted to wear these on my Christmas vacation, but shipping was greatly delayed. Fortunately the snow and rain did not materialize as forecasted. Just picked up at the poat office on my return home and they are really, really cute. I love them. And they make my feet look so small. I wear an 8.5 and they are exactly that with only a tiny bit of room to the tip of my toes. But after trying them on for a little while I could tell they were already hurting my toes even with thin socks on. Tried some arch support inserts to see if they would help, but am returning the 8.5 pair for a size 9. I hope they won't be too big, I think they will be okay with a regular or thicker sock which may be needed for warmth as they are not quite as padded inside as I thought they might be. They do have some padding, just not as thick as I thought Sorel boots may usually be. I have never tried or owned any Sorel boots before. If they fit I believe they will be comfortable and very functional. I may order another pair, or maybe even two in another color(s) since I do live way up North in snow country and they are so good looking. ... show more

    • Attractive, but there are some flaws/issue about which you should be aware
Size: 5.5 Color: Black, Sea Salt
As other purchasers have written, these boots run small. I routinely wear a US 5/EU35. After reading others' reviews, I ordered a US 5.5. The length is just what I need. As others have noted, there isn't much padding on the inner sole. I plan to rectify this with a pair of thin cotton innersoles. I don't need arch support because I suponate (the opposite of pronate). The "neck" of the boot, at the ankle, is very stiff. I wish it was less so, so that I could tie the ties tighter around my leg. Because of this, I will wear high crew or calf-height socks so that I don't incur chafing and/or a blister when I walk a lot in these. The upper doesn't have a lot of insulation to offer warmth. This is no problem where I live, but if your wet winter days are routinely 45F or below, you should opt for a different waterproof boot selection. As for whether these are waterproof, we haven't had rain since I unpacked these, so I haven't been able to test them out in any puddles. I do wish the company hadn't put a huge "SOREL" on the sole and tag on the back of the heel. I think this is tacky. Why did I buy these then, given the tackiness? They were half price, in my size, allegedly waterproof, with a relatively short shaft, and I liked the color combination. ... show more

I absolutely love them! They are ergonomically sound in every way. Full protection from the rain without being clunky! And they look cool. 10/10. I get so many compliments from everyone around me, even random people while Im running errands! I have had zero problems with some of the complaints I read about when deciding whether to buy. Nothing but good things to say! I go on hikes with them or just run errands. Easy to clean and they look brand new with a simple rinse. These were perfect for our 2 week, winter, European holiday. I have wide calves and hate the way most ‘snow’ boots fit/look. These are bootie height and actually allow me to look like I have an ankle! Color is super neutral and matched everything. We didn’t encounter much snow but it rained the whole time and was cold. My feet stayed perfectly dry and warm. Traction was great on wet cobblestone. After everyday use and walking miles everyday, they still look brand new. Super easy to just step into. Boot socks look darling scrunched above them. I even wore them on 8+ hour flights (to save space in my bag) and they wore just like any other bootie.
