True to size. Extremely warm. Kept my feet dry. Comfortable and I think quite stylish. The only thing I wish was different is the tongue of the shoe is kind of short. They would fit a little snugger at the top if it was longer that the boot itself.

They are definitely expensive, but I think they are worth it. I bought someone a pair of Sorels almost 30 years ago and they still have them. They are very comfortable, warm and also have good traction. In my opinion, they run small. I bought mine a size bigger. I can wear my winter socks and put an arch support in. ... show more

It's not often you find a company that makes a size 12 feminine boot that fits. Thank goodness for Sorel. I've been wearing, since the mid-90s, a pair of men's duck boots from LL Beans. I cannot say enough how nice it is to wear a feminine, lightweight boot that fits, and keeps my feet warm. Please note, these are not hiking boots, or boots to wear all day long. You won't have room to put inserts in. These are boots that go up your calf to keep the snow out while shoveling the driveway, walkway, and deck. Plus digging out the mailbox and fire hydrant type boots. I've been wearing them with regular cotton socks and wool running socks. (The extra padded toe type) and have NO complaints about fit. I still have room, granted about 1/2 inch but it works for me. I have plenty of toe room and a medium fit throughout. Granted my skinny heel can move about but I have no blister issues. I can see where pulling the laces tight might be an issue with things self destructing, but I would place that on user error rather than quality of the boot. Make sure the tongue is placed properly and gentle lace and tighten as you go. I tuck the extra lace inside the boot to keep it out of the way. You'll need a good boot horn or good balance to get them off your feet but it's not a big deal. They've been used quite a bit this winter and have held up well. ... show more

    • Cute but not comfortable or warm. Caribou is still my boot!
They were nothing like the fit of my old sorels! The were very cute and looked awesome on but I returned them. The fit was so uncomfortable I would never wear them! I was looking for a boot as functional and warm & comfortable as my caribou but a little more attractive for going out in Minnesota! There is no way that they are as warm as the Caribou! I’ll stick with what I have until I find one as great but cuter! I will always is my caribou for shoveling and dog walking! Still my favorite boot and I think they are going to last forever! ... show more
