There is no boot that keeps my feet warm in the snow. I've got so many that I've tried, including the Sorel brand. The old ones I have from the 90s were the only ones that kept me warm but, they're so big they're kind of dangerous to drive in. I was looking for a warm boot that wasn't so huge/wide/heavy. These are a little more narrower and lighter weight so I don't think I'll have a problem driving with them. I haven't tried yet but, I'll update here when I do if I have a problem. I have not worn them at my snowy mountain home yet but, I have in rainy chilly weather. They are comfortable enough and warm with the right socks. I ordered a 1/2 size up due to the reviews. I have some really thick socks so that helped with the extra room. I hope the reviews about the warmth is true because I hate my feet being cold. That's what sold me on these boots. My other current smaller sorels do not keep my feet warm at all. In fact my feet were in pain from being so cold I won't wear them again in snowy weather. I'll turn those into muck boots.

I typically wear a size 7 in boots so I ordered my usual size in this boot. Unfortunately they are huge, at least one size too big. They feel nice and warm and but even with thick socks they are too sloppy to wear out in snow. Don’t be like me and throw the packaging away and wait months to try them on…
