The media could not be loaded. I like these boots because they can be dressed up or down. They compliment many outfits no matter where you’re going and give me an elegant look. They are easy to put on and take off. I have had no issues with discomfort when wearing the boots. I feel like they fit true to size. I wear 7.5 and ordered 7.5 and fit perfect with any sock thick or thin. I sprayed mine with boot spray to help them stay looking 100% longer! The waterproof boot has worked well during snow for me! While I'm not living in a constant snow covered Country, we do get snow and it can be slippery on the streets when melted snow freezes. Wearing full on mukluks to work is overdone when most of the snow is gone. These boots are stylish enough to wear without looking like huge snow boots. They're sturdy warm waterproof and remarkably light weight. I adore these boots and get a lot of compliments and questions on them. If Winter keeps going (Groundhog day is just 2 days away) I might get them in another color as well.

I own the Sorrel Joan of Arctic boots - which are fabulous, but are essentially giant Moon boots. For an upcoming trip to Europe, I wanted something a little less bulky, but warm and waterproof. I bought and returned another pair of Sorrels that were more like brown combat boots. They weren't lined and warm like these are, and they were uncomfortably tight across the bridge of my foot. These boots, right out of the box, we're amazing. I'll wear them around a little bit, but they don't need much breaking in. They're insulated throughout so I've no doubt they'll be warm. I wear a size 9 and bought a size 9.5. I'm glad I did. I feel like a nine might have been a bit restrictive. 9.5 is not sloshy by any means, but has just enough room for me to wear a thicker sock. Unlike the Sorrels I returned, these are super easy to lace up. And, bonus, they don't make my feet look terribly large like some of my other boots do. (I actually thought for a moment when I was unboxing them that I ordered the wrong size because they look so small) There's aggressive traction on the bottom, so I'm pretty comfortable I'll be good to walk on cobblestones and icy patches without much concern.

I have so many Sorel boots of all kinds and the Tivoli IV boot is the shortest yet. I could easily have gone up one size in these. I don't know what it is about Sorel's winter boots and sizing, but they're all sized down. I'm between a 9.5 and a 10 (like a 9.75) and I've barely been able to get by with size 10 in Sorel's casual boots and some of their winter boots (probably should have gone up at least 1/2 size). I love these boots because they are soft, warm and cute, and would otherwise be comfortable except for the fact that my toes are hitting the end of the boot. I rarely post reviews because, well, who's got time, but I felt I had to warn other customers to size up (as others wrote ... and I didn't listen).

I have to say, I was not too sure about these boots when I first put them on. I walked around the house a few hours and at first the right foot felt like the inside of the shoe was not made right (under the ball of my foot). Then I walked around the house again the second day for a few hours and the left foot felt narrow. I thought this was odd, so I wore them again and the third time I loved them. I did get a size 6.5 (a half size bigger) because Sorel's website says to size up a full size however, with the micro-fleece lining that will just lay/mat down as you wear the boots more, the boots will get more loose on you. The boots fit great with boot socks. I would say sizing up a half size or full size would depend on the width or your foot and the thickness of the socks you will be wearing. They will be a little tight at first, but will loosen up. I love them, they are so warm and I live in a northern state.

I am a true size 7 I always wear 7 and buy size 7! After reading reviews I decided to order a size up and bought an 8! I received the shoes today and although they are super soft, light weight and they are comfortable. The shoe itself does feel tight at the upper top near the toe. This is supposed to be a size 8 and it feels more like a 7 because it fits me perfectly like my normal size 7 shoes do. I bought an 8 because I wanted to wear these shoes with thicker socks. With them being so tight I can’t wear my thicker socks with them without them feeling weird. I haven’t worn them outside in snow yet to really give accuracy on if they are warm. I will update my review later on. For now I give them a 3 start just based on being disappointed with the fact they fit like a true 7 which is my normal shoe size and I do not have wide feet at all. I have very small narrow feet. If I wanted extra room for thicker socks I would have needed to order an 8.5! Next time I order more pairs of these shoes I will order an 8.5 in other colors and share my thoughts:) hopes this helps with Sizing !

I purchased the Sorel Tivoli boot and went up half a size up. I typically always wear size 8 shoes, but for winter boots I ordered size 8 1/2 since during the winter I wear a thicker wool blend socks. Ordering up a half size was definitely the right choice. I'm thankful to the reviewers that suggested doing that. The Sorel boot is functional and stylish. as well as pretty well insulated definitely keeps my feet warm . These are heavy duty winter boots, with enough grip to stop slipping and sliding. I also ordered the cozy Columbia Heavenly Omni-Heat™ boot and it is incredibly warm, but more of a clunky look to it. The Columbia Heavenly Omni-Heat™ perfect for really cold weather. I purchased the Sorel boot for more of an everyday winter boot that isn't as clunky looking, has a cleaner look plus, easier to slip on. Also you can rest assured , that both Columbia and Sorel are both excellent quality boots since, Columbia owns Sorel.
