Stylish ankle boot that is waterproof. This boot looks great with jeans! It runs tru to size.. I sized up 1/2 because I planned on wearing it with thick winter socks and it works great. It has long enough laces which are soft but a little "slippery" feeling. The sole is a bit thicker than previous boots that I have. Wearing them all day was no problem; they were comfortable. I have super wide flat feet like Fred Flintstone. I am always skeptical buying footwear online. I bought these Sorels in a 7.5 wide and when I first got them and tried them on I immediately thought “yep I’ve got to send them back”. I gave them about 10 mins and they turned out to be so super comfortable and they are the perfect width. These have quickly become my wife's go-to for messy weather. The waterproof leather upper combined with the vulcanized rubber shell does a good job of keeping her feet dry. They are comfortable. The tread outsole has good traction on slick sidewalks. The only reason I’m giving these 4 stars instead of 5 is the fit around the ankle is a little tight. Love them. Super cute and comfortable. I read they run small so I sized up one half size from my standard. The length and width were a little tight (especially with wearing thicker boot socks) so I ended up ordering another pair one full size up from my standard, which fit much better. I do have a little extra room in the bigger pair even with thicker boot socks but they are not falling off by any means. I have wide feet so I ordered the wide width in both pairs, but both pairs I received were medium width. I checked multiple retailers online that sell these boots and I don't believe Sorel makes these boots in a wide width. I would recommend these boots but would suggest sizing up at least half, maybe 1 full size. ... show more

I have wanted this boot for some time, and they finally went on sale at a price I was willing to pay. The boots is as shown, the fit is snug (I have a narrow foot) - what I really didn't like is - the toe portion has no cushion, your toes are up against rubber, very uncomfortable. I returned them.

Super comfortable and warm. I ordered my usual size and they fit perfectly, but wouldn’t if I wanted to wear thick socks. I have worn them 3 times during inclement weather and they kept my feet dry and seem to have great traction even in ice. They look great with leggings or jeans and I think they will last. I’m a bit of a Sorel snob and have many pairs that have last years, so I suspect these will too. I love the duck style of the toe and the thick sole. Although they appear to have arch support, they don’t. So if that is important to you, it’s worth getting a half size bigger and adding a good insert. If you are someone that struggles with the on/off of certain shoe styles, you may find this just a tiny bit difficult to put on unless your laces are very very loose. The height of the shaft hits just above my ankle bones and doesn’t cause any discomfort. Absolutely worth the cost! ... show more
