It’s been years since I’ve worn Sorels, so I forgot that their sizing runs small. I typically wear a 7-7.5, I bought 7.5 in these and even with thin socks they are super tight. Not a chance of putting wool/thick socks on with these unless you size up.

ORDER ONE FULL SIZE UP AT LEAST. My usual size is 7.5, 8.5 fits and if I wanted extra room to wear really thick socks then I probably would have needed a size 9. Other than that, these are good quality, attractive boots with great insulation to keep you warm.

I wear 6 to 6.5 and ordered these in 6.5. They fit like a true 6. If you want to wear thicker socks with these I'd recommend sizing up. The insole has a firm squish to it. They feel warm. Inside is fleece lined and the top cuff is faux fur. Would of preferred grey or black laces instead of white but can be replaced no problem. ... show more

They left incriminating evidence in the box… after I paid $140 + tax, they sent a shoe that appeared to be on discount for $93 at a Sorel retailer. Was the shoe returned and on sale for a reason? I’ll never know… I was also a little surprised by the shape of the shoe. I recently purchased this year’s version of the same shoe in a different color. I was super excited to buy a more neutral beige color in the same style, but this shoe fits completely differently despite looking the same. For some reason, it is much more snug on my toes. I can only wear this shoe with tights, so I’m hoping the boot itself is warm enough. Haven’t had the chance to try out the water proofing yet, but I am satisfied with the style of the boot so far. ... show more

While I rely heavily on reviews, I don’t normally write them...but after having tried and returned several pairs of boots in order to prepare for a trip to Ireland, I felt it only fair to write something. Extremely comfortable! I exchanged the removable insoles with the furry honey soles and that made them even more comfortable. I have narrow feet so maybe that eliminated the toe box issue so many have mentioned. I am typically a 9-9.5 in shoes and based on the other reviews, ordered a 9.5, 10 and 10.5. 9.5 was definitely too small but could have used either of the other two. In the end I went with the 10.5 for the sake of being able to wear two pairs of socks comfortably. I started the trip with only one pair and ended it with 2 pairs because my foot started to slip a bit in only 1. Probably should have just got the 10, but too late now. Overall, I walked and walked all over Ireland and never had a touch of pain in these shoes. They are soft and supportive and so warm without making you sweaty. My only complaint is they are NOT completely waterproof. I even gave them a layer of scotchguard before I left right out of the box. We had lots of light rain and they were fine, but a couple days of walking a lot through heavy rain and I had to remove the insoles and leave them to dry overnight. It wasn’t terrible, only a little dampness, but not completely waterproof. I plan to add another layer of scotchguard for the future. Also they’re really cute!     • These have kept my feet warm in crazy conditions
I am a ski coach and I am outside all winter. These are the first pair of boots that I have owned that keep my feet warm even on the coldest day of the year. They are stylish and cute too! I highly recommend to anyone looking for boots. Only slight issue with them is the traction is the best, but that is what ice trekkers are for. ... show more
