I bought these boots on a recommendation from my niece who attends university in Alaska and wears them all winter. I'm visiting her for Thanksgiving and asked for a boot recommendation. These boots are very comfortable and warm (I was breaking them in during June and even in my air conditioned home and wearing shorts, my feet got very toasty). Reading other reviews and talking to my niece I saw that a lot of recommendations to order a half or full size larger than normal. I wear a 9 and ordered both a 9.5 and a 10. The 9.5 fit well, the 10 was a little large. My feet are narrow so I recommend if you have narrow feet order a half size up and if your feet are normal or wide, order a full size up. ... show more

Love the style, fit and is super comfy and warm. However, they are not great for ice. I guess the sole style isn’t great for traction, because I have a different pair of Sorel boots and they are great for ice, but the soles are different. They truly are waterproof and don’t stain, even though they are suede material. Pretty fantastic!! I will keep them for the cold days without ice and snow. ... show more

So happy with this purchase and received just in time for sub zero temps and snow in the Chicago area. Wore outside running errands all day and super comfortable and warm- not to mention they look very stylish! As reviews mention they do run a bit small- I’m normally a 9 and sized up to 9 1/2 and they fit perfect with a little extra room for thicker socks. Highly recommend! ... show more

if you buy them, SIZE WAY UP. I am an 8 and i got and 8.5 and it barely fits. Too short in the toe box. So......I had to remove the comfort insole to make them fit. HOWEVER......Very light. Very warm. Very comfortable BUT you will have to cut and fit a different insole or not use one at all, which you should. You will also have to break them in with a very tight lace-up for a few days. Size up by at least ONE WHOLE SIZE ... because....magically, the prices go up if you try to return them for a different size. in all colours...... no surprise. ... show more

I love these boots!!! They don't look like snow boots and yet they perform like them ~ truly waterproof and kept my feet nice and warm all day in the snow with only one pair of socks on! Super conformable too!

Super cute and fabric is nice. They feel comfortable, except that they run quite small compared to my other sorel boots. This is my fourth pair of sorels and I usually wear a 9. I ordered these in a 9.5 and they are snug lengthwise and slightly narrow. I don’t have a wide foot. I would exchange for a 10, but I’m not paying $100 more for them than I did for these initailly. Amazon needs to get rid of their ridiculous price increases. $100 increase in two days. Wtf! To add to this review, I ended up buying a 10 in a different color from Dicks for price I initially paid on Amazon before they raised the price by $100. They are still narrow for Sorel. This was not a common issue with Sorel shoes until recent years. That being said, they do stretch slightly. If you have bunions, these would be very uncomfortable; the same for wider feet. I have an average width foot and had my bunion removed five years ago. They are comfortable like a tennis shoe, but don’t have any arch support. I added an insert. They are shockingly warm. With mid weight socks in 10 degree weather my feet were actually hot just standing outside talking to a neighbor. They’re waterproof and keep my feet dry, although I’ve never submerged my foot. But they do shallow puddles well. The laces need to be double knotted or they’ll come undone. Otherwise buy different laces:). Essentially a nice boot worth having in your arsenal. I don’t think I’d do these in heavy snow, but they’re good for walks. Also, you’ll need yak tracks for ice. These do not have a good enough tread for slippery surfaces. ... show more

I got these boots for walking our dog in the woods during the winter. We live in coastal California so there isn't any snow on the ground but it can get wet and muddy -- and most importantly, cold. I have literally worn these everyday since they arrived two weeks ago. They're incredibly warm and comfortable, easy to slide on and off, and generally pretty waterproof (I haven't submerged them or anything but they hold up great in pounding rain and puddles). They are so dang comfortable that I actually hate to take them off and really look forward to putting them on on these cold mornings. I definitely recommend. I am a size 7.5 and that's what size I got and they fit fine with thinner socks. You don't need thick socks with these. ... show more

Desert baby purchase for trip to Pittsburgh in December. I had read the reviews posted on these and glad I sized up. I am normally a 7.5 and the 8s were the only size available for purchase. I took a chance and bought them. I wore thick winter socks and were just right. I also did try wearing a thin sock under the thicker one and that was a little too snug. I was fine with warmth and comfort with the size 8. I got a lot of compliments on them and they are super cute! ... show more
