If you were planning on the nice stiff Sorel leather, you will be disappointed. The are very soft. True to size and fit with a little heavier sock. The heels on the boot seem slightly wide, but not annoying. Very comfortable for all day on your feet wear. The wedge isn't too high. Because they are soft, they don't need breaking in.
