My husband's old Carhartt coat was in need of an upgrade after about 20 years, so I got him this coat for Christmas. Now that he has worn it many times, I asked his opinion and he had only good things to say about it. First, it keeps him nice and warm, and we have had some extreme temps this winter. His former coat was the shorter style, more like a bomber jacket length, and he said he appreciates this one covering his bum. Since he lost some weight over the years, I got him a medium (old one was XL) and it fits great with plenty of room to move around in. No issues with zipper or pockets so far. The black duck fabric makes this coat nice looking and suitable for wearing just about anywhere. Carhartt seems to continue living up to their reputation, so I feel good about brand loyalty here. ... show more

    • Carhartt quality
Size: Large Color: Carhartt Brown
This is comparable to the c26 that we used to order for our employees. They love the fit and quality is the coat. Work outside in the winter in Wisconsin and stay warm and comfortable. It is a heavier weight jacket that is a touch stiff at the beginning but breaks in quickly and lasts years.

    • Great jacket,keeps me warm
Size: Large Color: Carhartt Brown
Very comfortable. Keeps me warm. Was very stiff when new, so icrumpled it up and sat on it in my recliner. I recrumpled it every five or ten minutes. After a couple hours of watching tv and sitting on it it was unstiffened.

Size: 3X-Large Color: Black
Super warm, wind resistant. Very roomy shoulders. Its rough and bulky, but once broken in it will be perfect,

    • Good Quality Product
Size: Large Color: Carhartt Brown
Good quality product. Really nice and warm. A heavy jacket. I gave it a four in protest of the fact the original blanket lined button up Carhartt jacket is no longer available. I've had two and loved them until they were threadbare. I really don't like the zipper (hard starting) and the velcro "fly" on the new jacket. But...I'll live with it. Might search for a better alternative (for me) next time. ... show more

This coat was a replacement for my old one. Still a great warm fit. Thanks!

    • Found it on line
Size: Medium Color: Carhartt Brown
This is exactly what my husband has been wearing for the last 20 years. It was finally on tatters and we couldn't find a replacement in any store Longer to keep his butt warm and sturdy to stand up to cutting firewood. It is just what he wanted and the price was right.

    • Nice
Size: Large Color: Dark Navy
As other have said runs big. Wash it in very hot water add liquid fabric softer, dry in hot dryer and repeat process. You can also wash it with old sneakers and dry it with the sneakers to pound the jacket. I take a X-Large and it was loose but after a few washes it shrunk to a Large. It has draw stings around the waste to tighten the back a bit. Give it time and it will loosen up. ... show more
