LOVE these boots. I was hesitant based on the price, but they were worth it! I walked many miles of downtown Columbus, Ohio in the winter during a weeklong visit, and though I did get a blister on my ankles, I was able to cover with a band-aid and all was well. New shoes and all. But they were perfectly comfortable and VERY warm. I never once had cold feet/toes, and this was in both wet and dry weather. Really happy with this purchase!

I bought these boots for a trip to Fairbanks, Alaska in the end of February. This was my third try to find a pair of boots that would keep my feet warm in sub-zero temperatures while standing outside watching the Arora Borealis in the middle of the night. These boots are the best; with a roomy toe box that allowed me to wear 3 pair of socks without cramping my feet and I was warm and dry for the whole trip. I was concerned, at first because they are so heavy and roomy, but they never hindered me when I walked around in the snow at the International Ice Carving Championships, and they were comfortable with just one pair of thick socks (during the day). I highly recommend these boots in the cold and snow!

These snowshoes look as though they’re everything they’re designed to be:warm, waterproof and robust They are however, too heavy and not supple enough for me.

These are my first pair of Sorel boots, but my husband and mother in law swear by them and have had pairs that have lasted for years! I wear a size 5.5 in regular shoes so I ordered a 5.5 in these boots and they fit fine. With normal ankle socks, they're a bit loose, but with heavier or padded socks, they fit fine. They look a bit large and clunky, but I mean, they're heavy duty snow boots so that doesn't bother me. They come about mid way up my calf and the shoe has plenty of ankle support - there's not too much give when they're laced up. They're incredibly warm, even with plain ankle socks. It was -11 here the other day and even in light ankle socks, my feet were toasty warm. I like that the inside is removable and washable. I've had these for a few months and have worn them a handful of times. They seem to be very good quality with no tears or anything. I'm definitely pleased with these and would buy again!

I live on and work a horse farm in PA and needed a boot that was warm and not too clunky to work with the horses. I love these boots! After being a Sorel fan from my boots last year, I was looking for a comparable pair to the 1964 PAC 2. These are very similar- but with some MASSIVE treads. Did not feel comfy riding in them but that’s OK. Be prepared to get used to walking with some traction. They’re just a bit bulky- but not too heavy. I love how the inner liner comes out and can be dried. These have been 100% waterproof so far- even crossing creeks. I usually get an 8 but got an 8.5 for extra room. It was a good decision but not necessary, the toe area has lots of room. Highly recommend.

I bought these boots a week ago. NY and the Tri-state area have been hit hard with heavy snow. I bought these boots to replace my North Face Boots that fell apart. I am a size 9 shoe, but I buy my winter boots a 1/2 size larger for layering purposes. Since these boots do not come in 1/2 sizes, I ordered them in a size 10. I have plenty of room in these boots. They are rated to keep your feet warm in -40 degree below zero weather and to date, my feet are nice and toasty. I tend to have cold feet, so the higher the rating in warmth the better. If you do not like to have room in your winter boots, stick with your normal size. They are large boots and a size 10 looks like a 12 (ha, ha, ha), but they are the BEST boots for this weather. They have good traction and grip on icy surfaces. I walked through a deep water puddles and slush holes and my feet did not get wet! It took me 15 mins. to get used to the weight and size, but I LOVE THEM! if you are one who lives in a very snowy/wet environment and need a boot that is warm, sturdy and waterproof....these are the ones for you!
