    • LOVE these boots!
I do all the snow shoveling and work outside in the winter and wanted something warm after we had -40 wind chill last winter. These boots definitely keep my feet warm in temperatures in the teens and twenties so far. These are a cold weather boot. If my feet get cold in the house, I put these on for a little bit and they warm right up. Haven't tested them during a polar vortex negative temps yet though. Very comfortable to wear and I did not need to size up like Amazon tried to suggest. (I wear normal socks with these and nothing super thick and thermal. I normally wear Vans and La Sportiva approach shoes. I am pretty small person and my feet are more narrow.) I like the aggressive non-slip soles on these. They are easy to put on and lace up. Its nice to have a boot that is built for cold slippery weather functionally and that look really nice as someone who does the yard work outside in winter. Update: We have had back to back winter storms and wind chills as low as -30. I have been wearing these boots with my below zero Carhartt waterproof bibs and my feet have stayed nice and warm while wearing normal socks. Felt a little coolness at the top of the toes when my foot went under icy water, but no water got in and boots dried out quick in front of our air purifier. No other issues with moisture after stomping through thick snow and shoveling throughout the week. No wet feet. No more numb feet. Love these boots! ... show more

    • Size Up!!
These boots are gorgeous, keep my feet warm in the NY winter AND provide good traction- but they run small!! I normally wear a 9.5-10 in women’s (including a previous pair of Sorel boots). I miiiiight wear up to a 10.5 if I’m planning to wear a thicker sock… Following the advice of other shoppers, I sized up on this particular Sorel boot purchase and am sooo glad I did! I went a full size up from what I would normally wear and bought my first ever size 11 boot/shoe O_o It was the right choice. Wore these out today in a big snowstorm with my usual socks, which are thin little no-show socks that I usually wear with all my sneakers. The boots were comfy with a bit of room to spare. I suspect that if I were to wear any kind of thicker sock, they’d still be plenty comfy… Moral of the story: I’d suggest heavily considering going up one size from what you would usually wear, ESP if you’re planning to wear a thicker slouch sock or winter sock! Boot is well worth it and I’m considering purchasing in a different color due to loving them so much! ... show more

Overall this boot is perfect and I would recommend it to anyone. Pros: -Waterproof -Very stylish; I get lots of compliments -Super Comfy and easy to walk in -Warm enough to handle zero degree temperatures but not too warm that you want to take them off once you go inside a store -Price is unbeatable -Sorel reputation for quality and longevity is consistent with these boots. They are wonderful in the snow! They grip well, and keep my feet and calves warm and cozy! I also noticed that my boyfriend’s Timberlands were covered in snow when we got back from our walk but my Sorels were snow free - not sure if that’s a feature but it was nice not to have to shake off coming back home! They aren’t a pain getting on like some other boots I’ve had. I normally wear a size 9 in shoes but got a size 10 and these fit great! Seem like great quality and super cute too!     • WATERPROOF!
I ordered up. I’m usually a size 10 but ordered up so I could wear heavy socks. They fit good. I wish that they continued the faux fur lining all the way threw the boot. The ball of your foot/ toe area does run narrow. That would be fine prob for most. And it definitely makes them look more stylish. I however have an issue w my feet that when I get to 2-3 ml hiking my toes start to burn. So unfortunately these do that too. I finally figured out that zero drop boots don’t do that. So I ordered some of those for my long hikes. I’m keeping these because they are completely waterproof in snow, keep my feet warm, and look cute. So I will use them for shorter hikes and around town. I think they are more expensive then they should be. But that seems to be the case w all of them. Plus I’m confident that these will last a long long time. All of my Sorel boots have. ... show more

I read all the reviews before purchasing the boots and was told that they are SUPER small. I ordered a half size bigger than what I wear in tennis shoes and found it to fit perfectly! These boots seriously fit like a glove and are SO COMFORTABLE! I have had more compliments on them then I have ever had on boots! They are warm and have great traction too ... show more

I’ve had these boots for a few weeks now. However decided that after the blizzard we got yesterday I’d finally make a review on them. We had so much snow it was nearly up to my knees. I had to go help dig out a car and we’ll these were my only snow boots. Even though the snow came up past the height of the boots with tying them nice and tight, no snow got into the boats. I was outside, and mind you the boots were fully submerged in snow, my feet stayed dry and warm. For once I didn’t have frozen toes by the time I came back inside. The following day, I was so happy to see that the boats did not have any watermarks on them, which I was so concerned for my new boots would be ruined. The only thing that was a bummer about these boots was that they do run small. I would definitely go up half a size bigger than your normal size. If you’re someone who likes to double up on socks or wear thick socks definitely go up a whole size. Overall happy I bought plus they are cute and basically go with any outfit. ... show more

These sorels are super small. I wear a 9 and ordered a 9.5 and they’re too small. Comfort is meh.. small, tight toe box. The calf is loose even when cinched. Can’t speak to waterproofing yet but Im returning these and keeping the knock offs. Not worth the money imo. And btw, the knockoffs are IDENTICAL in look, craftsmanship down to the last detail, minus the Sorel logo. And they’re more comfortable, fit way better and 1/3 of the price. ... show more
