Needed a boot nicer than my sorel snow boots. something to actually wear out. These are amazing. Just tried them out during our (denver) snow. Walked thru 3-4 inch puddles, 6 inch snow, etc. my foot remained dry and warm. No slippage in much slush. Was too warm for icy, but can't expect much traction on ice, nor would I expect it. These boots are weather worthy, and when I got home, socks were dry. Highly recommend! ... show more

Great looking boots. Gore is up high and doesn't show. I don't have any wear time with these boots so I can't speak for durability, but I've had excellent luck with Sorel boot models from the last couple of years (as fashion footwear in rotation, not as work boots).
