As soon as these came in my son put them on and spent a half hour just walking around my house in them. No problem with weight for him (he's 2.5 yrs old and 30 lbs for reference. The seem to be well made and built to be water proof. I do have concerns about the fur at the top becoming wet but I honestly don't think it's too much of a concern for not so deep snow ... show more
