    • Cute, great color, but a little narrow
Color: Major I purchased this boot in a 9.5 since that is my size. I have a medium-wide foot, but have a thin heel. My heel always rises up in similar styles, so I have never purchased a bootie like this. While my heel rises a little, it was not bad. For me, they were too narrow (if you have a wide width b/w your foot bones). I think they'd be fine for a narrow or normal width foot. I am afraid that if I go up a size to accommodate width, they'll be too long and be too loose in the heel. The length and the support/feel standing in them was fine. BUT, I decided I would still keep them to see if they stretched out over time. (I'll update this post in time). I'm a teacher and do a decent amount of walking (but a lot more sitting this year). I was able to wear them most of the school day, but did have to change them early afternoon since my foot bones were starting to hurt from the narrowness. If I was walking around as much as usual, I'd probably have had to take them off sooner. I did wear the thinnest sock I could find. I may try wearing knee-high hose next time. I had read they could be narrow, but decided to purchase them anyway:) ... show more

I have wide fee. This is my 2nd pair of Sorel boots. I bought them for a trip to Ireland and they did not disappoint. No need for “breaking in” I found them comfortable immediately.

    • Cute and comfortable
I can feel the seam across the top of the boot more on one foot than the other. It's a bit annoying. I haven't worn them for a long period of time yet, but I think it will be okay.

I love these booties! I am between sizes (9.5) and these only came in straight sizes. So I got a 10 just to be on the safe side. With thin socks they definitely feel TOO BIG and my feet slide around a lot. But with thicker socks they feel great. The rubber bottom is comfy, and while the footbed isn't very padded I was able to walk around downtown Denver on vacation for a full 16 hour day of sightseeing and not be miserable. They are also definitely waterproof - I've worn them in rain and walked through some snow while on vacation and my feet didn't get wet. They're really cute with jeans and leggings.     • Love these but order a size up
If you’re not familiar with Sorel sizing, I highly recommend going a half size up. For winter boots I typically go a full size up, but I figured I wouldn’t be wearing thick socks with these. I ordered a half size up and they fit perfectly. I have pretty high arches and wide feet, and I do feel the pressure on my arches after wearing them all day but it hasn’t stopped me from wearing them again. I think these shoes run very true to size. I guess if you plan to wear super thick socks with them size a half size up. They are wonderful leather. The bottoms are thick and have good traction. They do expose some of the side ankle so obviously these aren’t for extreme cold/snow. I think they are perfect for me. I wanted something that I could dress up or dress down that will last a long time. ... show more

You get what you pay for. Soft, waterproof, comfortable out of the box, modest heel, great footbed cushioning. Ordered a 2nd color they are that good! I probably have about 15 pairs of sorel booties, ssndals, and boots. Never disappoint! As with most Sorels, I find I need to size up 1/2 size for a perfect fit. Might become brand loyal after this pair. The fit is perfectly snug to where my feet don’t slide and I feel secure in them. I tend to roll my ankles a lot so I have to be mindful of any heel height.
