I am not a professional recorder player, if such thing exists, however, this thing is great. I originally got it as a joke, so that I could annoy my friends with the John Cena song. But after I learned that, my career really took off. Not to brag, but I’m pretty good. I think the fact that my recorder is pink, makes me more motivated to learn new songs. My little 2 year old's fingers are too small to cover all of the wholes but she still LOVES playing the instrument. The one note over and over again drives us crazy but her enjoyment makes up for it. The color is a see through highlighter pink. She loves the color. I thought the see through was great because we can see if it's dirty inside or not but see through means you can see all of the spit in it anytime she plays it. Kinda gross to see. ^_^ ... show more

These are just like the one my oldest daughter got for school. My two younger kids thought they needed recorders so we ordered these. Great sound, all notes are correct. The bad is they don’t work well as toy bazookas and break easily when used like a sword (my son plays hard).

I KNOW how to pay a recorder! There is something seriously wrong with this instrument! It does NOT matter which note and fingering are applied to it, it will not change to a new note! BAD BAD BAD!!! It had residue on the inside of it, so not cleaned well after manufacture, or used. Either way, disgusting to get something that looks unclean, when you will be putting part if it into your mouth.. ... show more

This was a replacement recorder for my careless son. He likes the see through blue color. The recorder overall is your basic recorder and serves its purpose. It seems a little more fragile than the opaque colored recorder, but since the kids are out of school it doesn't matter now anyway lol. Good buy for the price. ... show more
