Blown Away By The Sony WF-1000XM3!
I won't rehash the many positive technical comments that so many have already made. The sound quality is what totally sealed the deal for me with this set of earbuds. On that topic, establishing a complete noise isolation seal with whichever ear tips works for you is a must. I do like the many option of earbud tips that come with the earbuds, but I eventually purchased the Comply large ear tips and man oh man, the comfort level and the seal are extraordinary! The app is extremely robust to fine tune how you want to hear your music. The latest firmware update 2.1 now gives users the option to set the volume on either ear bud and shows the battery level of the case within the app, and gives an additional option of voice assistant of Alexa. The noise cancelling is absolutely amazing too. The only thing I had some issues with is momentary call drop outs. That was within my home and I haven't given calls the total test out and about as of yet. When the call is connected, I did confirm with the other people on the line that they couldn't tell I was using earbuds during the call which is a very good thing. I would recommend calls in a quiet environment if possible. The Deca charging unit was a pleasant surprise as it does the job and is super slim and can easily be put in a pocket if necessary, but with the 18+ hours that the charging case for the Sony's offers, I don't really need to take it with me when I'm out and about. Better Than Airpods!
I have Airpods that I used to use more frequently but now these are my goto for music, calls, etc. The noise cancellation is stronger to me that the Airpods 2 and there is a deeper base response. From a convenience perspective the A2's connect more quickly and do have better battery life but I will make that trade off for better noise cancelling and base response. Uncomfortable but sound great

The noise cancellation and sound quality are great, but I think the Bluetooth audio when talking on the phone lacks quite a bit and these are not very comfortable… They’re very bulky for in-ear pods.

I wanted to like these but had to send back. I used while mowing. The music was crisp and lively but I could hear the blades while mowing. There was a whine while the blades were on. I have tried the Bose quietcomfort ultra 2 and were better but not by much. I tried both with there ear tips and with foam ear tips. Believe it or not my Shure Atomic 215 (foam ear pieces) are better than both for music sound and quietening the noise. ... show more

Ear Tips did not fit my ears.

The earbuds were great, however to work properly they need to fit snuggly in each ear. I reached out to customer service and was told there was nothing they could do. So I returned them.
