This review is for the white, king sized, Sonora Kate 100% Bamboo Viscose sheets. I have owned these sheets for 4 days, so here are my initial impressions: -The sheets come beautifully packaged. Great if you are giving them as a gift. -I washed in my front-load washer in cold on the “Hand Wash” cycle and dried on “Ultra Low” before putting them on our bed. -HUGE NEGATIVE: Does NOT fit a 19” mattress. I chose these because they are advertised as fitting a 16-20” or 18-20” mattress (both are listed in the description.) Sheets are only 17” deep when fully stretched! (We have 5” of memory foam toppers and a 14” mattress, so we hooked the sheet around the toppers, and have a second sheet on our mattress.) -Stitching looks good and elastic feels strong. -Pillowcases do not match. Two are plain, and two have a decorative 3-stripe embroidery along the edge of the opening. May be a plus for some, and a negative for others. Embroidery was very wrinkled after initial wash, and would need an iron to smooth them. I am not into ironing anything, however. -Aside from the edges of the two pillowcases, the sheets were not terribly wrinkled after removing from the dryer. They have become quite wrinkled after sleeping on them, however. -Sheets feel pretty similar to cotton sheets. They are not overly soft, scratchy, or silky. Our cheap microfiber sheets are smoother. I have read bamboo softens with time, so I’ll have to update at a later date. -I can see the label of my mattress pad through the sheets. These are on the thinner side. -Sheets do feel slightly cooler than our microfiber sheets, but I have not had these long enough to determine if the difference is significant enough to choose these. Overall, these are just okay. The pocket depth was a huge disappointment, as it was the primary reason I chose these over other highly-rated brands. Would have been a 4 star rating, instead of 3, had it been advertised correctly. ... show more

I got these sheets on Amazon Prime Day on a Lightning Deal, but I still had some doubts as to the quality of these sheets. I've got favorite sheets already, so these would have to surpass those to become my favorites, but it didn't take long for them to do just that. I was surprised at the weight of them (rather heavy!) and just how very soft they were. These have a sateen finish, they washed well (minimal wrinkling if removed from the dryer right away and dried on low heat), and my overheating at night has been greatly reduced. I bought Queen in Gray, which is more of a dark taupe than gray, in my opinion, but very nice color. They fit my deep mattress just fine, with some room to spare for an even deeper mattress. They came with four pillowcases, but only one set has the fancy embroidered trim. All four have envelope type closure. These sheets make me want to never leave my bed. I LOVE THEM. ... show more

So I purchased 2 other sheet sets same size from a different company. I was so mad they did not fit my pillow top California king bed. Wasted 80$ ea. Highly recommend the 24in for a pillow top California king. Just fyi. BUT!!! When I bought this particular name brand n size. I was so glad at how much it fit n how soft the material is. I was not sure I’d like microfiber sheets but these look and feel so good, I’d buy them again in a flash. The corner pockets are deep and the elastic goes all the way around for a nice snug fit. My corners don’t pop off either so no need for sheet holders.

I like this set because they are deep pocket sheets and they stay on the mattress. I bought twin size for my son's bed. And it's hard to find deep pocket sheets that are so deep for a twin size bed. I bought a set from a retail store and it was only 16 inches deep and it kept coming off the mattress. This set goes up to 24 inches and never came of the mattress. Overall, I am content with this purchase. The last 2 sheet sets i bought didnt last a year. I have a Prana king mattress and these have plenty of depth. Maybe a little too big but I dont mind tucking more fabric than being short.

These sheets came quickly and are some of the best sheets I've ever slept on. When you get them they are already soft, but if you wash them one or two times, they get super soft. The flat sheet fits fine. That’s it. Pillowcases are borderline king size and the fitted sheet is too small and won’t fit. It’s too big for a full but too small for a queen. Not sure what they were thinking with this mess.
