    • I absolutely love it!
It arrived 2 days prior to the original expected arrival date, completely intact with no scratches or damage - even to the mirror. It comes with the cabinet, interior and mirror portion completely assembled. All you have to assemble is the leg base (connect the legs via the 2 wooden connector pieces) then secure the cabinet to the legs. However, I was briefly confused when I couldn't find any instructions, hardware or keys in the packaging. Turns out they put those items INSIDE of the mirror cabinet. Personally, I found the picture diagrams extremely straightforward though they mislabeled the parts themselves. The legs said part B for instance while the booklet said they were part A. The two connecting planks were both labeled B/C as if they are interchangeable though they are clearly not meant to be. If you carefully look at the pictures and ignore the lettering, you will be just fine on the assembly. Keep in mind that as the mirror is already attached and it does have some weight to it, you have to be extra careful during assembly as to not scratch the wood or break the mirror. Once assembled it was extremely sturdy on it's own. There was no need to mount it to the wall or anything. It looks really nice and even my son was impressed by it. I love the look of it but most of all, I love all of the storage capacity. It is a major improvement over my previous, way overcrowded jewelry armoire. Now I can quickly and easily see each piece of jewelry. TIPS: 1. The ring slots actually make an excellent place to store pairs of pierced earrings. Simply remove the backs (so they don't get stuck in the slot) and slide them in via the stem (as you would in your ear). I have a separate little box in which I keep my earring backs that now lives on one of the interior shelves. 2. You can easily use 1 earring slot for an entire pair of earrings rather than 1 slot per earring. Just put the hooks in the slot one atop the other. 3. The interior shelves are great for perfumes. Room for improvement: It would be great if the bar connecting the bracelet/watch holder to the cabinet was thinner. This would allow for more bracelets and watches to fit. ... show more

This is a great jewelry organizer but it was a little strange to put together. Most of it comes assembled, but the hardware included to attach the base wasn’t the best quality. Also, one of the shelves wasn’t cut correctly so it made the support on the back of the mirror come together in an awkward way. The product is fairly flimsy in construction for a $200 mirror. The hinges and hing screws in particular are very poor quality. The exterior shelves are cardboard thin as well. Additionally, while the product name does not mention 360 swivel like some of the other songmics mirrors, the product looks nearly identical leading to easy confusion. Attempting to return the product required a $55 return shipping fee. I'll be looking for 3rd party swivel bases to make this usable. Update: Now that I've used it, I only have more complaints. As seen in the pictures the hinge screws are all over the place and the door doesn't sit flush when closed which only invites dust into the storage area. The door also sticks, requiring a stiff pull to open. If the piece was sturdy this might not be an issue, however, as flimsy as it is, this causes the entire mirror to shake resulting in earrings, necklaces, etc. To potentially fall. On that note when earings do fall, they can easily fall behind the flap I have pictured and get stuck in the mess of wires serving the front buttons and lights. Good luck getting them back. To Sognomics credit, they have these small holes in the earring storage racks that you can stick posts through. Unfortunately there isn't quite enough room to cap them comfortably on the other side. If you attempt to push the post through from the back, you'll find that since the back side is unfinished, there's no easy way to line up with the hole. Good idea, bad execution. Another thing to note: the unit came filthy. Inside and out. I had to spend 15 minutes wiping everything down and vacuuming the shelves and pockets from all the dust and marks. Some blemishes still remain. I've decided to weight the whole thing down with a kettlebell at the base to reduce some shaking and help with stability for now, but I can wholeheartedly say that I regret the purchase and the 1 star review I left has little to do with the lack of rotation, though I still maintain if you sell very similar products with major differences, you should do more to highlight the difference. ... show more
