Really love this dish rack it pulls out and then slides in if you need it smaller, tons of attachments for things like silverware, knives, and then drinks. I love the slats for things like cutting boards and pan lids. Highly recommend

    • Almost perfect... a few tweaks would help!

Overall, this dish rack has a really nice set up, but there are a few ways could be improved. 1) We needed to add some additional height to the "legs" as the edge of my sink is too high for the drain trough--It's two parts that "nest" inside each other. You pull out the end to increase the length, but there's not a way to "close" the seam between the two sections. Because of that, and the edge of our sink, water flowed backward and leaked at that seam "joint," and pooled under the pan on our countertop. We were able to place some thick foam sticker pads we had around the house to raise up the entire unit--now works just fine. It'd be great, though, if some additional "lifts" for the legs were included with the product in case this happens for others (can't really change the sink to accommodate the dish rack!). 2) Love the built in drain for the silverware basket, allowing run off of water to flow into the main tray for draining into the sink...but then the piece for drying glasses is completely OUTSIDE the entire unit! If used, the water from the glasses will drip onto your counter top. So I haven't really used that part at all, and may just remove. We've been drying glasses in the main rack, so it's not a big deal. 3) I do like the extendable extra section for use if extra space is needed for larger items....but wish there was a way to use by pulling the shelf only part way out. If you want to use that additional tray, it must be pulled fully out for the extra "arms" to flip up--if you don't use those arms, there's nothing that helps to keep items from sliding off. It'd be great if the outer edge (the edge you grab to pull the extra shelf out) was a little bigger/higher such that it could be used as a support for items (like a cutting board) so the entire extension doesn't need to be pulled out to use that part of the tray (we have small counter tops so every inch is typically used!). Overall, though, I like the appearance of this dish rack, especially the use of metal. Our last rack had a lot of plastic that eventually started cracking. I was looking for a dish rack that would actually drain into my sink, which has a 2" lip. This one works perfectly, as the extendable spout, which rotates so you can set it up however it works for your kitchen, extends up to 3 1/2" beyond the base. That alone would rate high stars, but what I like most about this rack is its adaptability. I have a small kitchen with limited counter space, so I normally keep the rack with its smallest footprint. When I want more drying space, I can enlarge it by opening the expanding tray either partway or fully, depending on my needs. The manual shows the glass/mug drying section hanging on the front, over the edge of the base, where water would drip onto the counter. But the mug rack is moveable: If I have more mugs than will fit in the main section, l can pull the tray out just partway, and hook the mug rack onto the side, so water drips onto the expander. I suppose it could even be hung on the sink side, where mugs would drain directly into the sink. Super adaptable. All this functionality, and the stainless steel/black plastic construction looks good too. See my photos for various ways it can be set up. ... show more

    • It's larger than most drying racks, and can be easily tweaked to fit your needs.

I assembled this, and didn't like it at first. Dishes were leaning in the wrong direction, and it was a pain to use. What could be the problem? I reversed the way I put dishes in, and realized it was a better way, but they were facing the "wrong" direction. Easy peasy, I picked up the metal rack inside the outer metal casing, rotated it 180 degrees, and it worked "right" for me, so it was easy to pop dishes in, and they leaned in the "right" directon.! Then, putting heavy bottomed glasses on the three metal wires that hold glasses was iffy, however if done carefully, it won't let them drop. It took a few tries to figure where to best put it to drain into my sink, so it was not in the way. The rotating drain pipe is a great idea for drainage. Un-tape it, and extend it in 360 degrees. Best part is I cook with some heavy pots and pans that need to dry, and the sliding out plastic shelf will hold 3 of them, so they lean against the metal rectangle. That alone is worth the price. If you don't need this, take it out, and have more room on your counter. It's a little tricky to fit it in so it locks in place-takes about 20 seconds to figure it out-easy. I'm now 5 * pleased with it, after spending an hour or so moving things around so it'd suit me. It's now in a very different location than my old drying rack, and that's a good thing. ... show more

Pretty good quality. Don’t have many complaints. Nicely built and the pull out extra tray is a bonus to dry cutting boards and trays. I don’t love the cup dryer attachment and the height could be slightly lower ( take into account if your counter is high and you’re short) but that’s just a personal preference. First and foremost, I love the product. It was not inexpensive. The first one came so damaged with all four corners coming through the cardboard resulting in one footing corner completely broken off. Amazon replaced it. The second one came with one footing sticking through the cardboard resulting in the rubber footing simply missing, not broken. I emailed the manufacturer to just get a replacement footing. Their response was that they had no stock for replacement parts and was told to contact Amazon for a replacement or refund. I find it hard to believe you manufactured a product you have no replacement parts for. I refuse to return it a second time to risk a third when clearly the problem is their packaging. Now I’m asking for a refund. I shouldn’t have to be inconvenienced a second time. Do better Songmics. ... show more

Overall it’s very sturdy and the quality is nice and thick not plastic feeling at all. The water drain on this is very horrible because it’s too short to reach in the sink to drain out the water. The storage space is actually good. I do believe it should be cheaper with the cost. It was very simple and easy to assemble. I will keep the dish rack after searching for months I believe this is the best looking one. I’m willing to work with the downfalls of this until I find better. ... show more
