These are sturdy once all put together, and assembly was easy for the most part. Some of the slats where the shelving supports are tough to set the brackets into and others are loose, and the pieces slip out if not held while placing the rest. They will also fall apart if assembled one place and moved to another if not done carefully (keep level and stable if doing that). The shelves are flimsy but once placed, stable but will slip off if not careful. I'm just using them for my storage unit, so they work fine for that.

These units are well designed, easy to assemble, and sturdy for the purpose intended. My only comment would be the shelves are made of of MDF and are somewhat thin….. have to go easy on the weight or cut new ones out of decent plywood.

I’m knocking off a star for how thin and flimsy the actual shelves are. Anything heavy that has to sit on them will warp and break the cheap MDF within weeks… But if you use bins that are big enough to span the shelves to the metal supports, it’s less of an issue. I’ll still want to get some decent plywood and recut new shelves.

I have had tinker toys that were better engineered when I was a kid. Every piece is a slip-in assembly which does not hole. You do one piece move to the next piece and it falls apart. The shelves are flimsy, but the biggest kick in the butt is that postage is required to send it back. All right used the return label supplied by the company. The original purchase price was $92.01, the cost of postage which I had to pay was $91.00. I hope that I am not holding the bag for this cost, we will see how this is resolved. A day later got email stating your return approved with a free FEDEX return too late for me. Not worth my time and effort to fight for the money. I will just eat it and be more careful in the future.
