This is a very sturdy and beautiful wall picture frame. It also has glass frames not plastic. A lot of people said the hole don't line up and it's very complicated, BUT if you have the time and the patience it comes right together following the instructions step by step... YOU HAVE TO PAY ATTENTION!! oh and 100% put your pictures in first and also follow the pattern of the sample pictures in terms of how the pictures should be...long or horizontal... Review of SONGMICS 4x6 Collage Picture Frames, 12-Pack Picture Frames Collage for Wall Decor, Rustic Brown Photo Collage Frame, Multi Picture Frame Set with Glass Front, Assembly Required @ $31.99 at time of purchase. After losing my soulmate/fur grandson, I wanted something a little different to display some pictures of him on my wall. My daughter and I took so many pictures of him, and many are on digital frames. But this frame stood out to me as unique and a way to have some of the hard copies displayed together. I like that the 4x6 sized frames are an overall good size to display together like this. I like the design of the layout. It fills an empty space I had on a larger wall without looking too big. It takes up a space that is just under 25 inches by 25 inches. The instructions help to assemble the collage frame by following the steps. I chose to put all my pictures into the frames after assembly and it was easy enough to do. I am not a handyman, but this was pretty easy. It helped me to lay the thing out to begin with just to see how it was going to look and make sure all the holes lined up for the dowels and screws; they did. I did notice that the pre-drilled holes did not all seem to be completely drilled, but everything went together fine. I was provided with 2 extra dowels and 4 extra screws. The backs are numbered, and the instructions tell you where they go. You get glass panels and backing boards. The tabs holding the glass, photos and backing in place swivel instead of bending. There were cheaper choices of this product, but I preferred the brown wooden finish look over the others. I will see how well this holds up for a little while and might visit this company’s store for some of their other collage frame choices. And I will update this review if this fails to hold up for some reason. ... show more

The good, it came with all the pieces and nothing was broken or dinged. From 1-8 went together perfect. Then the bad happened. 9-12 holes did not match up. At first I thought it was me on frame 9. Then I looked at 10, 11 and 12 and none of them worked. One side would fit but not the other. (I should have read the reviews). Then I got creative and mixed and matched 9-12. I screwed where the holes on the frame were and the wood is soft enough so it went right through. It turned out beautiful. Just like the picture. I love the frames configuration. It did turn out to be a lot more time consuming but it was worth it! ... show more

After a month, finally got all the correct pictures for it - the right combination of horizontal and vertical.. It was easy to assemble. It is quite big. Be sure and tighten the screws so it lays flat Other wise, it bows up.

Looks great! Would advise the solid color ones. The wood look is fine but I wanted to slightly sand and stain the wood and found out it is composite / Mdf wood which is essentially cardboard with a very thin wood veneer. Works 100% fine if you leave as is but not if you expect to alter it at all or expect it to hold up long over time. ... show more

When this frame collage arrived in a small bow, and not assembled, I had that “Oh no this is going to look trashy on my wall” feeling. But it surprisingly was not only easy to assemble, but the pieces fit together perfectly with nothing loose or at odd angles, for the prices, and needing to assemble it myself, it was far higher quality than I expected. I will say that if you aren’t careful it would be easy to strip the screws because the frames are a pressed wood material that is fairly soft. I was careful and didn’t over tighten, and it was fine. But I could see that as an issue for someone inexperienced in assembly and tool use. ... show more
