I originally bought this set for a 5-day trip to NYC for a performance a few months ago. I used the largest suitcase to pack all of my clothes, shoes, and toiletries—even a heavy coat since it was still chilly. I also used the smallest suitcase as a carry-on, and it fit a change of clothes, shoes, light jacket, and whatever else I thought I might need before we got to our hotel. The dopp kit bag was also very useful to hold toiletries, and I’ve probably used that one the most since. Everything went smoothly. The rotating wheels allow for easy maneuvering—and they held up well between sidewalks, crosswalks, stairs, escalators, subways, buses, etc. I definitely put the handles (the non-extendable ones) through the ringer having to carry luggage up and down stairs in the subway stations, and they also held up well. One of my only complaints is that the carry-on extendable handle is on the wobbly side and cannot support holding an additional bag. I used a previously-owned bag as my “personal” bag and loaded it down with my iPad, snacks, chargers, books, etc. and the wobbly carry-on handle worried me… So I just had to carry my personal bag or support it on my checked bag when it was around. My checked bag took a few scratches from transport, but that doesn’t really bother me. It was easy to spot on the luggage carousel, though! I have since used these bags (including the duffle) for a smaller getaway, and I have no complaints. They stack easily and fit under my bed for storage, and I look forward to using them in the future. I don’t expect them to last for 10 years or anything, but I am not a heavy traveler, and they have served their purpose thus far. ... show more

I love how unique and cute this luggage is. It makes it easy to spot when we have to check in our luggage. Although, we usually carry our luggage on the plane with us and the size is perfect just for that. The wheels work in standing position and sideways which is great. I got me and my husband matching luggage in different colors. The fact that it comes with a small bag I could use for makeup and a duffel bag that can be used as our carry on item is even better. The handles do take up more space inside than I like so if you're going on a trip longer than a week then this may not be the best option unless you plan on doing laundry. I took this on a trip to Montana during the winter and was able to fit some bulky sweaters, pants, warm socks, etc. Besides that I love how these look kinda fancy without breaking the bank. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This is a nice-looking carry-on bag bundle. The spouse is really excited and thinks this looks very stylish. It rolls nicely and is quiet, there is ample room inside for this smallish roller-bag. There is a nice strap to hold your clothes in place. They provide a nice luggage tag, and the bonus bags are packed inside as well. We will talk more about the bonus bags later. I like how easy it is to change the combination of this bag. 1. You push the recessed set button once with a pen-tip. 2. Select your new combination 3. Squeeze the unlock button to set the new combination Previous luggage I've owned required holding the set button in while you set the combo. This bag can be done one-handed. I do have a slight concern on durability. This bag is brand new and I'm seeing potential stress cracks forming on the handle already. The bonus bags, the only real concern here is that the shoulder strap on the larger bag is not padded in any way and I can imagine this would be discomforting after carrying it around for a while Overall this is a stylish bag system, but I'm only able to give this three out of five stars Pros - Stylish - Lightweight - Quiet wheels - 1-button press combination changing Cons - Not expandable in size - 'Bonus bags' do not have YKK zippers like the hard case bag - Unpadded shoulder strap on large bonus bag - Seeing what look like strain cracks starting on handle before loading it up ... show more

I really like this product and think the quality matches the price. I was a little nervous a couple times when rolling the case around, but other than some wobbling in the handle it worked great!! I love that you can place the other carry on bag over the handle and just roll it around like that.

I ordered this luggage for a trip to Europe. I selected the cream color because I figured it was more photo friendly. I can only give this product a 5 on the basis of looking just as good as advertised, smooth wheels, easy spinning, easy setup for the lock, and pretty roomy. Looks really pretty and stylish, but built of cheap and low quality materials. I was afraid the wheels would snap off before we even put it to use.
