The legs are high quality and solid, heavy metal. The table is a single-piece, thick, heavy and quality cut, with a nice finish. Minor quality control issues: The holes that are cut out for the screws to go through in the metal legs, still had a piece of the metal in it. I was able to punch it out with a hammer and needle nose pliers. The last issue might be a deal-breaker for some: the table surface has small splits in the surface of the wood. It's fixable, but at the price point, it's definitely disappointing. ... show more

It appears that the core maybe made out of compressed wood with an outside laminate that is starting to chip on the top surface. It started to show up after five months. Sturdy steel legs, but for $499 way over priced for a table that is manufactured wood top . It may be solid wood, but the core appears to be made with compressed wood. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I like this desk as it is made from real wood. It is is curved for maximum elbow comfort. The wood is thick and is great for writing on. Assembly was super easy. The frame is wide and sturdy. The color looks good. My only recommendation is for a little thicker gloss on the top. Overall, super impressed and I love it more everyday I use it. I actually like not having drawers as it helps me to keep organized daily. Trust you found this review honest and helpful:-) ... show more
