I fell in love with the lines of this birdbath. Did not disappoint. Arrived in pristine condition VERY well packaged. I wanted to leave this in my sloped NY garden in winter (it is heavy to lug around) and was advised to give it a protective coating. Polyurethane was the recommendation...but that is not good for birds...so I used Flex-all (safe for all critters). Much to my chagrin...it turned a variegated darker color right after I brushed it on. Thought it would turn back to white when dry...Nah. I was a bit non-plussed at first...but decided that I loved the new "aged" look. This piece looks like it was installed when my house was built...over 70 years ago. I added a solar fountain. The birds and I are both pleased. FYI If you want it white...leave it. :)

Poor workmanship on the one I received. As you can see many imperfections, and even holes in product. The whole thing has tiny hairs ( Fiberglass ? Harmful to birds? ) coming out of finish. This is not what I would expect from such an expensive birdbath. If this was an Amazon Prime approved product it would be going back. It is gonna have to do, but Buyer Beware. I have to hide the base seam going up the entire base, cause its very ugly. Top doesn't properly lay level on base, and will have to put a wedge to keep level. Does not hold much water as top is almost flat ( think dinner plate ) . I have to fill daily sometimes twice as it does not hold much water for such a large heavy item. Top is ugly and has imperfections and a hole in that as well that has to be hidden. Overall a disappointing purchase I will have to keep despite the almost $200 pricetag. I took a chance and lost. I can not recommend based on the one I received. I do not feel this will last either. Material is not "Stone". This is not concrete.

The media could not be loaded. Arrived within a reasonable time. Packaged well. Easy to set up. Beautiful. I love it. I wanted a smaller one which would be easy to clean out on a regular basis. I also purchased a solar fountain for it. So cute! But also beautiful!

It looks like an ugly lump of raw cement. It is rough and unfinished. A total scam. The whole unpacking was a bad experience. So much low quality styrofoam packing, disintegrating as soon as I opened the box. Styrofoam beads blowing all over my garden and the whole neighborhood, just from opening the box. Useless styrofoam because the base was completely cracked in two. How can this very very heavy lump of raw cement be returned? The whole thing is a middle finger to the customer, the birds, gardens, the neighborhood, and the environment. I am ashamed for partaking in this purchase. Whoever designed this lump of cement, and decided to pack it in this way, and then actually try to ship it should be fired.

This was a gift for my mother who wanted a simple, traditional birdbath. She was very happy with this one! As other reviewers have noted, it is very heavy. She needed someone to help her set it up. Very pleased with this purchase.

The bird bath came VERY well packaged and was as described. The bottom of the pedestal is not completely flat which caused some issue with leveling the water in the bath portion. I solved the issue by placing a large paver on the lawn filled with a very large saucer of damp sand. I placed the pedestal and bowl in the saucer and twisted the pedestal as I used a level to get the bowl and water level. If you have a sandy soil, you may not need to do this but our soil is all clay. The bath is heavy and will NOT TIP which is great when we have windy, wet weather.

I sent the manufacturer a message asking how to protect cement from being so porous....no response.I would ship it back but it will cost me more than what I paid.

I purchased this as a birthday gift for my adult granddaughter. She has a lovely home with a big backyard and often hosts outdoor gatherings. It makes a beautiful addition to this setting and the birds love it too.
