I wanted to leave a review to kinda clear things up about this duvet. When I saw the pictures of the pine green one I fell in love. But i noticed there were a lot of negative reviews for that specific color and in the pictures the customers posted it looked nothing like the pictures advertised. The fabric was a lighter green color and looked thin and crinkly. So I was torn about buying it but gave it a try. The one I received is very similar to the one advertised. (Keep in mind I think the photograph I took kind of dulls the color a bit but it's still pretty accurate.) The fabric is really soft and silky feeling. It has a beautiful slight sheen. The color does look different in different lightings I noticed. Maybe the customers that had a bad experience were sent the wrong color. But It is actually really similar to the pictures advertised. Maybe a tad less rich but of course the lighting makes a difference. If you were having doubts I would give this a try. The quality is honestly really nice. I love the color it suits the moody vibe I’m going for in the bedroom and it’s soft. Why is it 4 stars instead of 5? Two words… cat hair. It sticks to the duvet never letting it go I can wash it and it’s still stuck on there you need to either vacuum it off or lint brush it

Just bought my second set. These are great, silky soft. I saw some reviews mention the sheen, that goes away pretty quickly when you wash them. I think it also depends on the color. I bought blues both times and I liked the sateen look. My first set I washed with the buttons buttoned and that ripped a couple holes, otherwise they've lasted at least 3 years and they're still nice. I definitely recommend these. ... show more

First of all, my phone refuses to take an accurate picture of the color. Most accurate is the very top left corner in the picture with the cat. The deep plum is definitely a pinker purple, but NOT maroon like it looks here, sorry! These came very nicely packaged; I immediately washed them with my new sheets on cold/ delicate which worked well. I may invest in fabric softener - the fabric is smooth & cool to the touch, but more stiff than soft or rough. It's a nice texture to sleep under. Hair does stick to it like a magnet. My kitten is obsessed with it (he has very fine taste in comfy blankies) and has been rolling around on it nonstop. I was worried about the button closure, but it was actually quite easy and seems sturdier than I thought. Also, do yourself a favor and size up! I wish I had bought a king for that luxurious, rumpled bedding look & feel. It barely comes to the edges of my very average sized queen mattress. My partner and I don't quite fight over the blanket, but some wiggle room would have done us justice. A little extra would have just been perfect. Learn from my mistake! ... show more

OK first and foremost, very high-quality. Little on the heavy side, but that’s what you get with Egyptian cotton weaves. Color is absolutely absolutely gorgeous.Why I’m giving it three stars is only because pet hair is absolutely in love with it, and it doesn’t look purple after our white cat lays on it so the only burden I wish other people who have pets knew this if you have a pet with darker hair, maybe that’s shorter and sparse. It may be just fine. We have two cats one has white fine fluffy hair that sticks to it like all get out. That’s the main part that bothers me because I felt like I dropped a lot of money on an item that doesn’t look as luxurious as I initially wanted. Definitely not manufacturers fault ... show more
