The truck seems to be running just fine, I'm not sure if I need lead for the valve seats or not but it's 60 years old so I don't think I'm hurting it. At $10 for a 20 gallon treatment i don't feel like it's breaking the bank.

    • Need for the fuel, but also need an additive for the oil.
Seems to work well for my 65 impala, however also need a zink additive for the oil. Both products helps my old car run great. No more smoking or noises. Both were minimal, but now gone.

I have an old 9.5 HP Evinrude outboard that requires leaded gas. The gas today is too corrosive to run in old outboards. I still disconnect the fuel line and let the motor run out of gas before pulling my boat out of the lake, I do that with all my small motors.

I have a vintage '57 MGA that needs lead in the petrol. This product does the job and I keep at least four in the boot at all times, as the gas gauge isn't always right and it comes in handy when I have to get gas. I have an older Chev truck that needs a gas lead substitute for the valve seats. I think it's a good idea since the gas of today contains no lead and a percentage of ethanol. Modern engines have harden steel valve seats and the lead substitute isn't needed in them-
