I bought this grate to use with a smaller Thai style charcoal grill. It’s well made with thick cast iron and heats up quickly and evenly. I seasoned it before use, the meat didn’t stick and slid off easy. The larger square pattern makes cleaning easy.

Cast iron insert fits in the center opening of the steel grill of my Weber kettle BBQ. Very sturdy and easy to clean. You can get it good and hot and it's great for getting a good seared surface on a very rare steak.

The product fit our Weber grill perfectly. It is heavy duty and relatively easy to clean with a brush. Like any cast iron cooking surface, you will want to oil it after use to maintain surface.

It has worked well as a lower cost alternative to the Weber one. Doesn't quite fit in perfect to the Weber Gourmet Grill grate but a little wiggle and it goes in no problem.

This is a great searing grate. I fire it up on top of a wide charcoal chimney (directly on top), and it makes a fantastic surface for searing the ba-jee-zus out of a sous-vide piece of meat.

Good fit for my mini 14" grill. Perfect sear marks! Cleaning however is a hassle but a detail grill brush will eventually get the job done. Can be flipped upside down to thin or think sear marks.

    • Grill marks in a Weber!
This does a great job. I just put this piece directly over my coals and cook the steaks indirectly around it. Finish them on the grate for a dear and grill marks. Perfect!
