I bought these for my wife who has had a delicate eye surgery and was advised by her surgeon to be very careful about direct sunlight. These glasses were advertised as blocking both UVA and UVB rays. My wife says they are remarkably comfortable because they fit easily over her regular glasses, don't slip and ride comfortably atop her head when she goes indoors. Also she claims that her eyes don't burn or water when being a long time in the sunlight. So, the glasses were a complete success. My only complaint is not against the manufacturer nor even against Amazon. However, since they trusted to UPS for delivery and UPS used what they call SurePost to deliver them I am mightily upset at them. I have dealt with UPS for years and have never had a problem with them. Now, for whatever reason, they have decided to partner with the USPS. Why a company with the solid reputation that UPS has earned would decide to partner with an organization with the dismal reputation of the USPS really escapes me. I ordered a number of items at the time but the glasses were the only item shipped SurePost. Two days after they were supposed to be delivered I received a notification that the glasses were "Undeliverable at my address." and returned. This is extremely strange because, like many people who have become Amazon addicts, all my shipping information resides on Amazon's database. Only once, this one time, when the package was turned over to the USPS for delivery did the carrier suddenly become clueless as to my address. I reordered and this time UPS did handle the delivery with it's usual speed and efficiency. And of course, Amazon came through with a fast and complete refund for the first order.

Perfect for post cataract surgery. Not only great for protection from sun, but also for keeping me from rubbing my eyes. My granddaughters think they are "alien" or "frog eye" glasses, but I love them.

These are cheap sunglasses I can wear over my regular glasses in a pinch or when I need the combination of debris protection and sunglasses. It’s easier to wear these on a strap and pull them over my prescription glasses than it is to carry my prescription sunglasses and put them off and on, especially when driving or doing yard work.

Great Fit-Over Sunglasses That Do the Job These Solar Shield fit-over sunglasses turned out to be a surprisingly good buy. I was looking for something to wear over my prescription glasses for driving, and these slip on easily without being bulky. The polycarbonate frame feels lightweight but sturdy, and the smoke-tinted lenses cut glare effectively, especially during midday sun. I noticed a real difference on long drives—less squinting, less eye fatigue. The styling is simple and not flashy, which is fine by me since I just want functionality. They do cover well on the sides, so light sneaking in from the periphery is minimal. One thing to note is that while they fit over my standard glasses comfortably, if someone has larger or wider frames, it might feel snug. I haven’t had issues with scratching yet, but like most sunglasses, they’ll need to be handled with some care. I keep them in the car and they’ve held up to daily use without warping or loosening. Bottom line: A very practical and comfortable pair of fit-over sunglasses that make driving and outdoor time much easier on the eyes.

These work great. I had cataracts removed and my eyes were real sensitive to sunlight and these took care of that. They knock down the suns brightness but keeps your view still light. I don't wear them over other glasses, I just use them as regular sun glasses.

Don't buy this item. I purchased two pairs and within 2-3 months the earpiece (the part that goes from the frame to the ear) broke on both pairs without any stress. I have used Solar Shields for decades and have not had this problem. These new frames are made with a new plastic which is very brittle and has no strength. I would like to send them back to the manufacturer for replacements. Please provide me with the information.
