Bought as gift for nephew. He really wanted one of these for some odd reason. He loved it. These devices charge painfully slow when it comes to solar charging so always make sure it's charged and don't rely on the solar. I think these are handy when camping because all day when you are using your phone etc, you can have the powrrbank laying out on a table etc and it will gain some juice by the time you actually need it. Charges very slow though so keep that in mind.

Very easy to use. 3 different "types" of flashlight on it. When fully charged, the light is pretty bright. Has usb ports which I've used several times during baseball games to charge my phone. Solar charge is slow when I've tried it but I always try to keep it fully charged and ready to go.

The battery is rated 20,000 mAh which is superior power. The power charger can handle 2 cell phones at the same time. It has a wonderful solar charger on it, as well as ability to plug into a computer or other device that charges. It is totally a great unit, but the compass on it was seriously off to the extent it did not even point somewhere in the correct direction. I don't want anybody to get confused about directions when they are camping and wandering around, and that made me decide that I didn't really want this otherwise great portable device charger with the sun as a backup charger to recharge this charger. It really has nice features in early 2024, and I would have kept it if the manufacturer had put a working compass in it.

This we got for camping. It works wonderfully. We ended up buy 3 more after this one so now we each have one. Highly recommend getting to even have as a back up if the power goes out

The media could not be loaded. I have a battery backup about this size that you charge by plugging in. Trying to be more earth friendly, so bought this, since it's solar. Drained it down to nothing, and then started to let it charge. It's been charging for 2 weeks and still isn't up to full! Once it is, I'll charge my phone and update this review with how long it took and how many charges I got for my phone. So only 3 stars for now, as I won't be able to use it to charge my phone regularly. I had hoped to use it primarily, or maybe half the time. But that won't happen. It's just too slow to charge by solar. Update: It never got to full charge from solar. Only half, after 3 weeks of sitting on my car dash. So I plugged my phone into it, as the phone battery was reading 15%. In 10 minutes, the charger was depleted, and the phone was at 21%. That's all I got. Would never be able to use this as any kind of reliable earth-friendly alternative. Absolute junk. Would return it, but for what I paid for it, not worth the hassle. But I can warn all of you reading this. I've attached a video showing the 4 blue lights. Green means it is on. 4 blinking blue lights means it is charging. When one light is steady, and 3 blink, it is 25% charged. 2 steady lights and 2 blinking lights means 50% charged. That's the point I got to, and could not get off of...I never made it to 3 steady lights (75%), let alone all 4 (100%).

I mostly got this as a larger battery and I mostly use it around the house (I'm on the wrong side of the room and there's no plug nearby!) but I thought the solar charging feature would be nice since I often don't use it for weeks at a time, that could counter how long I need to use it. Well, first off, it doesn't have a way to see how charged it is. There are some indicator lights, but they're hard to understand (no instructions here!) and when charging they just indicate "charging" not how much you've charged. The first thing I did was drain it and stick in near my window. Not the best light source, but it was charging for about a week.... and it didn't really charge anything. This implies that even having it on the outside of your backpack while hiking wouldn't be enough to "top it off", which is even less than advertised (it does say that it probably won't be charged solely from solar, but I was expecting more). Other features: rubbery outside you can probably do whatever with it and it won't be easily damaged. The power button for the flashlight is hard to find and hard to press, and annoying since it cycles through multiple modes. There's a compass on the back, but it has issues mostly pointing to "northish". I think the internal charge confuses it and there might be poor build quality that's preventing it from spinning as well as it should.

No longer need electricity to change my phone can fish or hunt while still taking video or phone call without my worrying about my phone dying . Also great for truck drivers when their truck lose electric power

I bought this solar charger for my hurricane prep kit. In the event we lose power for an extended period of time I thought this would be helpful to keep us in contact with our loved ones. Its small enough to be easily stored in the kit.
