This.Is.It. My new go-to scent. This Sol de Janeiro is the best scent ever! Well, actually, I'm going to get them ALL and chuck all my other, more expensive perfumes. I love the big chunky bottle that lets you spray generously without worrying about running out. The price makes it accessible too. After an initial strong alcohol scent, when that dries the scent is gorgeous, voluptuous, beautiful. I have gotten many compliments on it, my daughter borrows it. Scent: Cheirosa '59
This smells amazing. I get patchouli and vanilla notes. It smells soft and feminine. The smell seems to fade a bit quicker than I'd like, but it's a decent size.

As a die hard OG Cheirosa girlie, this scent just became a new go to. It’s light, floral, feminine, without being too overpowering. It lasts, but it’s not too strong, so after a while you just smell fresh, not like you just drown yourself in body spray. I can see where some people say the lay down is powdery, but it’s not like grandma powdery, it’s very subtle. A good balance between mature and youthful. I think I found new favs! One purchase led to another and to another and so forth. I'm not an expert when it comes to intricacies of fragrances but I am picky and these impressed me enough that i will come back for more. I tend to blind buy fragrances (which gets me into trouble sometimes) but with these I'm glad I did. My opinion is that rio radiance (yellow bottle) is definitely a beachy smell. Some would even say maybe like sun block. It is a great summer sent. 40 to me is a bit muskier especially with amber plum and warm musk. It does have a hint just a hint of vanilla. 59 is also musky alot of people say it smells like warm and cozy from Victoria's secret and I tend to agree. Both of these to me feel like an evening scent maybe even fall. As for 39 and 71 it kinda reminds me of walking into a cupcake shop. 71 is definitely heavy with the macadamia and when it dries down you can definitely smell white chocolate and a little vanilla. But not in a sickening sweet way . these really do dry down beautifully. I have seen some people complain about the price and say they would rather buy bath and body works (for the same 8oz). For me this sol de Janeiro ,for my body chemistry, last so so much longer than all the cheap crap that bath and body works pushs out. So I end up not having to re spray myself every 30 minutes. I previously used this as a body spray and it smelled amazing but really similar to a perfume I liked, so when I realized that this spray was also for hair, I began using it as such. I get SO many compliments on my scent now, but it’s mostly about my hair. I get asked a lot, “what do you use in your hair?” And it’s this. I’ve been in love with the smell of it since the first time I ever smelled it. I recommend it even though it is a bit pricey. ... show more

I love the smell but you do have to reapply a few times a day. The smell just doesn't last all day. But it is a fragrance mist and less expensive than an actual perfume.

This is definitely for my compliment seekers. It smells lovely and it’s surprisingly, long lasting. I highly recommend purchasing this with the body lotion Just so you can really have the sent linger.

I was hesitant to get this for my daughter as it seemed expensive for a "body mist" that I thought would quickly disappear like most do. But it doesn't!! The scent lasts and it smells so wonderful. It does not seem like young person's scent either - any age could wear this.
