I am basically obsessed with my new collection of SoJos sunglasses! I tell everyone who will listen to go grab some, because they have beat out some of my designer $200+ glasses in construction, sturdiness, and weight by far…my 30+ year old daughter tried on my new “Y2K” glasses and of course we had a fun combo about memories of the squared off smaller shades I would wear in the late ‘90’s when she was a child. We love that this brand has brought some of those retro like vibes back while still being modern and up to date. It is more like “a nod” toward the past if you will. I am not sure which pair I have that would be my favorite because they are all so unique and slightly different while still all holding that quality and putting forth the design factor I am looking for…simple, classy, yet eye catching style. The frames are lovely, the weight is fantastic, I love that they don’t have nose clips because I wear them back in my hair a lot while shopping or gardening. They don’t sit on my cheeks and leave tell tale markings, and I like the fact that they are all Polarized and come with a card to let you see that they are. They thoughtfully included a micro fiber cleaning cloth which I appreciate. I do wish more of the styles had their wonderful wool like textured carrying case that a few of the others do, but those are at a higher price point to be fair. You won’t find a better pair of sunglasses for $15-$25!!!

I have reviewed several pairs from Sojos sunglasses. So many that it would be hard to deny that this brand is my favorite brand of affordable sunglasses now. They have so many different styles and versions of those styles that you are certain to find a great pair for your fit today and probably three pairs for your fit tomorrow. For this pair, I selected the black frames with gradient brown lenses. If you have not tried a pair of Sojos sunglasses for yourself yet, and if you like square frames, this is a great pair to buy first. These fit my almost too large head very well and the gradient brown lenses are so nice. If you have tried polarized lenses on cheap sunglasses (and not liked them) in the past, these could change your mind. These are not super light and pressure on the arms is enough to notice, but not enough to cause problems for me. They will a great pair to choose if I am going to be wearing them for short bursts rather than all day. I would probably not choose this pair for a really long drive or day at the beach, but I do really like the look and the eye comfort afforded by these lenses.

I used to spend big bucks on my sunglasses, but after losing, scratching & breaking many pairs, I decided to look for more economical options and came across the SOJOS brand. Seriously, I can't believe how much money I wasted on big name brand pairs in the past thinking that the construction, style and materials were superior to cheaper pairs. I now own about 4 pairs of SOJOS sunglasses and they all look and perform just as well as my $100+ ones. The frames are sturdy, polished acrylic, the lenses are polarized and they come in so many cool colors & styles for men and women. I'm a guy with a wide face and I've never had any of them feel tight at the temples or rub uncomfortably at the bridge area. Maybe I'm just lucky, but it's like they're made for my face. Price wise, they're comparable to the cheap glasses you can buy on the rack at your local drugstore, but they're of a much better quality. For the price, you really can't beat them and no one will know they didn't cost you a fortune...

I ordered the dark tortoise shell frames/graduated brown lenses model, and this review is for that model only (clearly, the other colors/styles would provide a quite different look). these are visibly low quality, thick plastic sunglasses, with somewhat of a severe, overbearing profile. the lenses are polarized, but not of particularly good quality. these would look best on a mostly rectangular face/head, rather than a roundish or oval one. the tortoise shell frames are practically black (and are in fact black, from a distance). if you have a strikingly aquiline face, these may well suit you; and if you don't, I doubt very much that these (overly) dramatic looking sunglasses would suit you, or provide a pleasing appearance. they really are unavoidably conspicuous and rectangular in every way. again, if you have bold, 'large' looks and a rectangularly-shaped face, you might like these. and if your face is rounder, or if you have smallish features and/or a nondescript physiognomy, you might observe that these overshadow and overwhelm your looks --that people will notice your sunglasses more than they notice you.

Sojos glasses are synonymous with class and sleek looks in my world. These glasses do not disappoint. Bold yet understated, as soon as I put these on I felt cooler, taller, and unstoppable, ha! If you are looking for pure "black" sunglasses, these are some of the best. Reduces light by around 80%, these are too dark to wear inside, but perfect for wearing in direct sunlight. Comfortable to wear, the right size for my face shape (larger bridge). I really like how these fit and look. I'd expect someone else to have spent over $100 on these glasses, yet they are much less expensive.
